Ive had my N96 for 6 -7 days now.... from Vodafone and ive had nothing but problems!! media doesnt work and it turned itself off on friday and wont turn back on.,.. Fantastic phone while it was working tho.. bit slow but ah well getting a replacment tomorrow.... hope it works better than this 1!!

I am experiencing General: System Error once i delete a corrupted image, i tried to format the mass storage and memory card but still it is there. can anyone help?

Koreans (specifically South Koreans) are a lot better and more advanced than Finnish when it comes to technology! Koreans just like Japanese make not only phones but all electronic appliances and gadgets and automobiles. Little Korean grade school children can already make toy robots as school projects. So,Samsung is a lot better than Nokia because South Korea is better and more advanced and more high tech than Finland. If you are watching Korean TV shows you'll be amazed by their high tech gadgets! South Korea is the most high tech country in the world, second to their cousin, Japan! Don't ever ridicule Korea or Taiwan or any of East Asian countries because I'm sure even your country can't even produce toy robots while little Korean kids already know how to.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I agree with you on this mate, because my mate got a samsung g800 and a few months down the track the phones is screen is gone all funny and he has to take it back, he should have got the nokia n96 as it is an AWESOME PHONE.

beck, 20 Oct 2008i got the n96 and its giving me problems at times when i ge... moremine is fine, I wouder why it is doing that,you must have a problem with the software, try updating your software the might fix the problem.

For a while the Samsung Innovate was number 1, in one day 2000 votes appeared and it dropped to number 3, I'll bet it was Nokia "fans" giving the phone 1 votes who caused this, for no reason other than to put a Nokia back to 1st spot.
Any threat to Nokia's position will be met with 1 voters which skews the results making them worthless.
I was pointing out in an oblique way the uselessness of the rankings here as a measure of anything.

its a great phone.Major negative is the battery..,back up is very bad...wish Nokia puts in a better battery.

samsung products are very poor not like nokia products.
If u need to make Comparison it will be with lg or some like this.
The teams between NOKIA N96 and samsung innov8 like teams between sky and earth.
Korean products like Chinese products and Taiwan products.

It is JUST a phone doing all what need to be done for a multimedia phone. If you have a N95 8GB right now it should be stupid to change, if not it should be stupid to buy a N95 8GB right now, N96 is better

According to the rankings on this site, there are at least 15 phones ranked better than the N96.
Old phones are in 1 and 2 (N82 and N95), you may as well save your money and buy one of them.

basically it's a very good handset in any type of use.
my idol mr. arun kumar vyas suggest me to buy that handset because he has a very good knowledge of mobiles.

if you want pathetic 700 kb images get this phone
if you want superb 2.5 mb images get samsung g810

As to be expected after 2 years a substantial improvement on the N95, especially in voice clarity, caller image now full size, storage capacity, to name but a few. On the downside, weaker vibration and, annoyingly, the slider cannot be set to disconnect calls, so make sure you press the red button before you start cursing your caller.
