As to be expected after 2 years a substantial improvement on the N95, especially in voice clarity, caller image now full size, storage capacity, to name but a few. On the downside, weaker vibration and, annoyingly, the slider cannot be set to disconnect calls, so make sure you press the red button before you start cursing your caller.

After reading the Serial # to Nokia, they told me that it was made in Bangladesh. How can I get this unit fixed? What's the best camera phone out there? Is it a Samsung, Sony or Nokia? Thanks....

my mate got n96 last week as a upgrade from original n95 after a couple of days we swapped to test which was better my n95 8gb or his n96 for 3 days... After one day i wanted to swap back due to battery power being a joke compared to my n95 8gb picture quality is not as good on his due to smaller lense and sound quality doesnt compete with my n95 8gb after 3 days with my phone he is now returning his n96 to get n95 8gb trust me this phone should never be compared to n95 8gb it is an insult to say it is as good and anyone who says difffrent have clearly never owned n95 8gb

And to settle a little misunderstanding, Nokia phones made in China are not fake. Fake ones have really funny names like Mykio or Nokra something like that. They don't even have an imei number and no warranties, and it will be really really cheap. Even the feel of such phones are cheap. Believe me I'm from around Asia and I've seen pretty remarkable fake phones that look amazingly similar to the real ones. Nokia has manufacturing places in every corner of the world and its main base or place is in Finland, land of Kimi Raikkonen (hehe sorry, I'm a big Fan hehe). Nokia phones available in most places of Asia are all from China, places in Europe will probably recieve from Finland, land of the Iceman and the U.S probably from some place there as well. So, Nokia phones which says 'Made in China' with the location and address of the factory, and if it has warranty and an imei number, it ain't fake and its about damn the same as those from Finland. (Do you think Kimi Raikkonen has one? He has the N95...hehe just wondering)

Okay...seriously, you people have to stop making the N96 look like a piece of rubbish. Its not. I owned one right now and I love it. Sure there are problems but some of the problems posted sounds fake and made-up. Are you sure you people bought the real phone or a fake one?? Or doesn't even own one in some cases as it sounds. Nokia would never make a phone with that much problem less you bought a rammed secondhand or a defected one. The N96 is a good phone. Those who have a problem with it just get rid of it and by something else lower because it seems like you can't handle a high-end 'super' phone.

this fone is a disappointment.. ur money is'nt worthit in this fone.. i rather suggest u to buy nokia n82.. its a lot cheaper and a lot better.. the camera quality is better than n96 or n95.. as far as i know, n82 has the best camera in the celfone market today.. n82 rocks!
