Poor Poor phone.
you would have to be nuts to want one
Bad batt life, bad software, this phone is full of problems. I work in a phone retail shop and o dear sold 2 had 2 back....
over priced... get i iphone or N95e

Absolutely true ..infact the iPhone is the worst phone solution in the market....it cnt even send MMS's....its just an iPod that hapens 2 be able 2 send text measages, surf the net and take Photos.....other wise the i"Phone" suks...2 of my friends sent their's back....and countles of other unhappy consumers......
The N96 is a good smart phone....ABSOLUTELY IN-COMPEARABLE 2 THE i"Phone"...

n96 is a good looking mobile in nokia because it has 5 megapixal camera in that this mobile has 16gb inbuild memory and extendable is 8gb seethe total gb is 24gb finally is very usefull for young people

further to my earlier message. I have persevered with this phone and must admit I still think this phone is cr*p. The i-player is wi-fi only. So if you are at home you can watch tv (which is where I usually watch tv anyway) and if you are out you will have to knock on doors to get access keys to other peoples wlan. There is a leaflet in the box when you get the phone. It says "thank you for buying the N96. Your phone is loaded with production software and may freeze at times. Do not worry,this is normal. Just in on the website and download updates when they become available". So now instead of pre-sale trials,we are the guinea pigs. We do their testing for them -and pay highest price for the privilege. Makes of want to cry.

goku, 02 Oct 2008i heard N95-8GB is better then N96 what do u think guys ?lets just say that n95 8gb users have no reasons at all to upgrade to n96 knowing that n96 doesn't bring so much new features but dvb~h & 16gb only.

Hey folks
Have any uk users tried out the bbc iplayer yet?
I put it on my n95 today. It's pretty cool, but it's wifi only, streaming only (no download option) and no radio programmes.
Is it the same for you guys? Is yours the same beta version?

waited six months for this. what a waste of time. A lot of the features don't work. Or only work partialy. It looks nice though. But so would a bunch of flowers.
This is just an expensive paperweight.
The moral of this is : Go to a shop and try it first - REALLY TRY IT - NOT JUST HOLD IT AND BE SUCKERED IN BY THE HYPE AND SALESMEN. They are only there to make money, your hard earned cash.
BUYER BEWARE.

got phone today and its going back today the phone is not compatable with mac at all not even the bluetooth setting the flash is poor and the picture is nothing special.
the centre button is awkward and if you have big hands you will choosing the wrong options all the time.
the screen is good playback on video is good and its quite fast on the internet

i got N96 last week and it froze on me like 6 times already then i updated the soft ware so for its ok.....have good day
