James, 04 Oct 2008I like the n96 give me some help should I buy it or not? Em... morei got one. Taking it back. Slow opening applications. Software doesn't work. Service provides cant help. Nokia cant help. You buy this you are on your own. Get somethin established. N95 mabe.

bought this on day one. October 1st. Don't worry about battery life - half the features don't work anyway,so you won't wear out. Come on Nokia come clean. This phone is a proto-type and those of us who paid for it should actually get paid for testing it.
Don't waste your money on this yet---- see if they are still producing this in a year. Remember the N93? Vaguely?
Incidentally the back on this phone is loose now. I have had the back off so many times at the insistance of the help desk ( remove the battery and sim,wait five minutes then replace them. This usually sorts 95% of problems.).So anyone want a Nokia N96 -1 (why -1 I don't know, shouldn't think they'll still be in business to make a N96-2) . Less than a week old,with the back held on with sellotape. Can only make calls and texts. Web browssng slow. Unable to download applications. Digital tv -if you can wait up to two years. Bbc i player -that needs wifi connection-so you can really only watch it at home. Contact me and I will find two doctors to have you certified (after I have had your money- i have been stupid once this week not any more)

It is time for me to upgrade but it is so hard to choose a phone I was thinking of getting the n96 but the battery are a big problem and it doesn't have a 3D accelerator but is that a problem? I work in a retail store and we got these phones in after a long wait and it was much anticipated.....
Turned the phone on, played with it for half an hour....and decided that although i dont like the N95's they are better handsets....
It's slow and glitchy, the buttons are very Motorolaish....
And we've had several complaints from customers about the battery life......
All that said, i could have said I line, 'It's a Nokia N Series Phone'......nuff said!

New N96 price 35000/ one week used N96 selling at price 25000/ just i sold out it, many people wants to sell it. nothing new in this cell N95 8GB is the best phone all the way.

arslan ali, 03 Oct 2008yar sold my nokia n96 becoz its flash was not working somti... moreI guess it wasn't a problem with your handset rather with your camera settings. In the flash setting options you can set the flash to turn on every time you take photo or just remain off, and there's a third setting: AUTOMATIC, it means that the camera sensor will check if there is sufficient light for a good photo then it does not use the flash but only flashes in low light conditions, get it?

and zoom 10x in N 96 wher its 20X in N95

All you N96 buyers get it returned an wait for the Classy N85 as its cheaper an more better built than the N96,go onto www.mobile-review.com an you can read a very good review indeed showing you why the N85 outclasses the N96

Lol....im here ....i wasnt gone just observing....The ppl who hav problems with thire bettery life...my hav not used a symbian smart phone b4....
Close all applications by gradualy exiting...not by pressing the Call end button!!!!
Some ppl have no problem with the N96's bettery....jst the lag in application execution....eg:Opening Text editor...

5800 beats this in every way apart from camera. And the price is WAY lower than this phone.
