I have just ordered this handset i'm tsking s bit of a chance. I have not used anything other than than a nokia 8 series since the 8850 was launched such a long time ago.

Its a good thing Vodafone UK still offer a 14 day return on upgrades. Considering I'm falling in love with the 8800 carbon this phone better be upto the hype all you guys have heaped upon it!! I will let you know what I think of it on Friday

I think it would be good if Nokia is not making the same mistake done for N81 in its sliding mechanism. Its really loose and feel like it may break at any time.

here in dubai, n96 is still not available, while samsung innov8 is already trading at around 2,850 dirhams or 35,000 pesos. looks like samsung is serious to mass market their best mobile phone!

Nokia N96 is sold at around $745 here in the Philippines at the moment and will go down to its intended price of $599 in the next few months.

no other phone can beat that in being the best value all-in-one device!

i think ram is too less. then need to check processor specs speed is slower.

Ah... but N96 has a 2.8 inch screen which is better for browsing, texting and watching videos. The bigger the screen, the better!
If I was a Nokia employee, I would commence making studies on just how big a screen they can get away with using this slide form factor: probably 3.2 inch widescreen.

Its not 256 mb build in memory. its 128 and half of it taken by the system. in total there is like 70 mb free.
