tryed this one , i prefer 1200 !
Pay 500€ or more for this rubbish never , i prefer burn my money .
Very slow crashe all the time omg if i have one of those i throw it out from the window

well nokia n 96 has now released in pakistan and i crazy about this phoone...i waited for 3 months....
and its the time to buy it........

I do not think this phone is worth over £550. Even on contract they will be charging £200 for this phone, thats not too bad, but would not pay this high end price.

Samsungs actual rival is LG. Both their buildings are litterally next to each other and apparantly they spy on each other to see what new ideas each of them have.
This is what I've been told by LG and Samsung workers in my Training. They're not really interested in other brands in which I think is quite silly

n96 - focal distance 5.2
n85/n79 - focal distance 5.45
n82/n95/n95 8gb - focal distance 5.6
n96's camera is a downgrade from n95/n82's camera. theyre not identical in hardware and technical specs. n96's camera lens is smaller than n95/n82's camera lens and produces worse image quality.

iolo003, 11 Sep 2008but is it marketable? only few are interested on innov8. ... moreand according to those review, they both agreed that only nokia loyalists will go for n96. i, myself, am a nokia fanboy, but i dont think n96 is really worth its price. yes, it's a high end phone. yes it's a flagship mulrimedia device, but it's not the best phone that's out in the market OR has been announced recently. even it lower-indexed brother, the N85, is in so many accounts better than n96. there are so many things that anybody can fault at n96. the only drawback samsung innov8 has is its hefty price tag. but between n96 and innov8, innov8 is more worth the price considering the many advantages innov8 has over n96. i think nokia should also observe what's happening outside their company. they should put a truly all-in-one device, not just a jack of all trades, master of none device. the n91 and n81 have a dedicated audio chip that produces sound quality second to none, but they are deprived of at least decent camera, the n78 has a decent camera but sound quality has been worsened. n95, n82 have the best 5mp camera, no doubt about that, but sound quality has been set from worse to average only. and now n96... n96 has 5mp camera just like n95 & n82, but actually the camera technical specification has been reduced and image quality is worse than n95 & n82. sound quality of n96 is better than n82 and n95, but not in the same high level as n81 & n91. so, it's time for samsung innov8, samsung innov8 not nly is the first ever 8mp camera phone released but it also has the best image quality among all camera phones, not only it has a dsp sound chip but its dsp sound chip that uses its very own dnse technology produces the best sound quality among all music phones. my point is, n96 would've have been worth it if at least it has the sound quality of n91 and the image quality of the camera of n82.

thats an act of... moreI am not pro samsung but after reading your post, makes me want to testify for samsung.
I used samsung phones before, still having one of them this moment. My dad has been using samsung phones for years... No durability issues....
I used SE and Nokia too. currently using E71. I love my E71 but please don't condemn Samsung. It's a good brand and they make good phones.

I have to tell the real story. I am not a particular brand fan. bocz my meal is not provided from either nokia or samsung or se.
When samsung announced omnia, I was shocked (like most ppl) and I definetly thought it's miles better than i phone (bcoz of its specs). And I bought it (cheap bcoz I got it with contract) once its released. But I dun have it now. Sold it already. And u can see how many ppl are selling away their omnias in online ads. And how many ppl are willing to buy i phone. Dun say I am new to winmo. I used a few O2 phs b4.
So, if u want to buy samsung, go ahead and gd luck.
