i own a N95 and it's by far better than any other phone in the market the only thing that is not upto the standards is the battery talk time.
the N96 sounds like a great phone and the features look very good on paper, the only thing that worries me once again is the battery, apart from that i can't wait to get my self one of these beauties!!

nokia do not have touch screens, as they dont need them. why put money into touch screen when average buttons work just as well?

I think n96 has a lot of problems to have a super late release. Think of its battery. Also nokia is playing safe, not releasing this phone until 8meg from Samsung and SE is released. So the price of this phone will be high. I think people should not buy this phone because in a couple of months Nokia will have their 8meg phone.

definitely not worth upgrading from N82!
the price does not justify the extra features

Well I thought samsung i8510 was the only phone giving the n96 competition. Never saw the samsung i900 OMNIA. Thinking of upgrading to it in the future. but not too sure about games. And its cheaper than the n96!!!!! The N96 is the most expensive phone on the market but not the best. Go for the Omnia or wait until Nokia brings out some thing better.

it has a little talk time because of the processor used. Faster processor means bigger power consumption, it would naturally mean that dual processor equals almost twice the power consumption of an ARM9 chip.
If nokia won't use a more powerful battery, actual talktime would be a nightmare!(considering that the usual talktime advertised is the "ideal" talk time gathered in theoretical situations, it would be worse if it would be used in real life situation)
Sadly though, unless nokia is also developing a new battery, there is none available in the market which has twice the capacity of the current battery used by N95 8G.
