You might have a flex problem(a component that makes the connection between the base plate and display) . Go to a service shop or Nokia care.

OK i was having trouble with it that it stucked a lot and every time i had to restart. before it restarted quickly but then it took 5 mins (in these five minutes just the light of the hot it remains on no other light neither of the keyboard nor of the screen) to open the half hour then about 2 hours to on but now it dont wants to be on at all just the light of the hot it remains on no other light neither of the keyboard nor of the screen so plz help

If you say Galaxy, there are about 6 types and if it sells 10 million, it is not a very strong sales. Nokia sells more high end or smartphones than any manufacturer. Most of the profits are from high end or smartphones. If Nokia N8 is not a good phone, then i don't know the phone you consider good. Wait for Nokia N8 sales figure and you will see why Nokia is still number 1. Nokia N96 is a best seller high end phone in 2008 for Nokia if you didn't know.
Even if Symbian is leading Android with 1 phone margin, it is still number 1. You don't know anything about phones and technology.
Get an English teacher to teach you how to spell and good grammar.

I prove that n96 was not a succes for Nokia with numbers. But to understand that you have to have more then 2 neurons...that's not the case with you...as for the selles figures, Symbian is still first but it's lead is very slim. Just Google it, Nokia leads because of lower to middle end phones where the lead...Smartphones account for a relative small procentage,the majority of phones sold worldwide are lower to middle end phones! As for Galaxy...when Q4 selles figures will be released the 10 million target will most likely be achieved,especially with the Christmas holliday season. Since you're not a very bright boy i undurstand why you consider the N8 a very good phone....enyway that's it I waisted enough time with someone like you...

Hassan, 24 Dec 2010hi n96 users does it have any slide problemHassan,during the time opening and closind a slide phone can damage the slide. This is not a problem specific to n96 but all slide phones. When you open it and close it hundreds of times, you realise the slide is going to warn-out eventually.

And if you can leave the battery charging for a few hours even if it shows it shows it's already full,it will last longer.

Full featured phone, it will unleash its true capability with the right hands on how to use it. I am so lucky to have this one since jan2009. Never been repaired/damaged. Only problem is the battery life.

Nokia N95 is the pacesetter of smartphone with stereo speakers, gps, 3g and 5 megapixel camera. There was less smartphones with such features so it had majority of the market. Nokia N96 was competing with Nokia N95, N95 8gig and touch screen phones because it didn't had any major feature just 16gig with dvb and it was very expensive so owners of N95 didn't see the need to upgrade, most people who wanted smartphone bought N95 because it was cheaper and some also bought touch screen phones like Nokia 5800 which was cheap. Nokia N96 is even still popular when discontinued than most smartphones.

Just bought a second hand unit of this yesterday. So far the features are great. I can watch tv with it. Its camera is nice, but i already bought a special kind battery for n96 so its battery would last twice. Just to make sure.

wat happened betwen the two 4nes was and wil in the future always affect sale of 4nes. Millions bought the n95 and wen the n95 (8gig) ,millions bought it and then the the n96 came and with many nokia users in third world countries and already havin the two n95 who needed a new devies. May b only d few million. The thing is IF NOKIA N96 came b4 nokia n95 it wud had sold more than the latter. Just watch Nesux S v Sgs
