Nokia is either retarded or ignorant. Why would you make a phone with all this features then power it with a low end battery? Calling it a multi media computer bla bla bla with some crappy battery just makes this phone a worthless piece of crap. Get your acts together Nokia. To be the multi media computer that you want the N96 to be, you need to step it up some more.Add a high capacity battery, a touch screen, an office editor and the same N82 camera features and this phone would be unbeatable.

                      nah,what the differences between n95 and n96?
just a 16Gb capacity and no improvement in camera? still LED lights?
and how about the battery life?
i prefer n82 that comes with xenon flash and longer battery life

nokia has always had a good reputation when it came to battery life but as of lately the quality the use to offer has dropped. i like the look of the new n95 though or n96 whichever they decide to call it. It kinda look like they where going for an iphone look but maybe they should have added some additional features like touch screen or QWERTY keyboard. Again love the look of the new n95.

n96 is great but the battery capacity suckz big time . nokia should make a new n96 version with bigger battery capacity and much lager screen maybe about 3inchs

duel led allows users to take videos in low light conditions, but for photo capturing the N82 will still be the better solution with a Xenon light.

Nokia will always give something and take something away in every phone model...

i think nokia just innovate thier phone they just renew the features of cellphone or just the same features but diff. unit cause if you can notice their phones is just the same just "INNOVATING"

Does anyone know if the n96 has an ambient light sensor? Because it is one of my favorite features on the n95. I thought the small sensor near the earpiece was the sensor but it is actually the secondary camera. There is no mention of such a feature in the official specification.

Also, the phone has a built in tv tuner but as far as i'm aware lots of countries do not broadcast dvb-h signals yet (uk gets them in 2012) so this will be a wasted function. Is this correct?

The fact the n96 has a dual led instead of a xenon flash is a positive thing as it will give a near xenon camera flash but can also be used for video. But a torch/flash light feature would be handy and easy to implement but there is no mention of it in the specs. Maybe the LEDs will be accessible for symbian software this time. Then we can download a torch app.
