this phone is hopeless
i've taken the phone to nokia care centre for a couple times due to the same fault that keep occuring every now and then
personally, i think if that fault didn't occur so often, i wouldn't mind using the phone and give thumbs up for this phone.
the fault was the phone kept restarting itself and keep going offline mode saying that insert sim card which i already have.
mind you i have already replace a new sim card but it still does it and also updated the firmware for this phone.
i have given up hope with nokia for now

a piss pore processor,it cant even run quake 2 let alone quake 3.

this set is same like 5730xm,perfect in all specs but unfortunetly it has poor batery life. .so sad

using the samsung innov 8. its much much more better thyan this n96 thing!

i use this phone until now...no problem 2 me...but of course standard ....battery still only can stay 4 one day if u listen music....butin stanby mood can used until 2 or 3 days...i really happy to used this handphone....thanks 4 nokia....

It looks like you don't know the meaning of the expresion '' second hand'' and you are using it in an original interpretation. The expresion referes to an used item. The n95,n73,n82 etc, are older nokia models which millions of people across the world still use. Some might call what you said a little snob,don't you think?

as i am n96 user it is fantasic cell phone and it has every thing i was looking for excellent photographic quality and mindblowing features.i love this set and will advise others to use this set through there life.

I believe that sales rate of a certain phone have to be taken into consideration because is a clear indicator that customers are satisfied with a certain phone. The n95 is still a seller even after a few years after it's apparence. That proves that is able to satisfy the demands of a large procentage of phone users. As for the n96 i heard ( i am not sure) that nokia has stopped producing it. The example with 6300 is irellevant. It's a phone for people who only want to make and receive call. The n900 is in the spotlights now. Since i have not used this phone i can not express an opinion about it. Only time will tell if the n900 is a succes story or not.
