this is the worst phone it freeze a lot i wont get the n97 coz im afraid that it will the same as n96 im thinking abt buying the htc touch pro!!! what do u think!!!

rowel, 11 Aug 2009i dont if my cp is china phone i will trow it to the trushc... moreits a good thing my N96 is made in Finland!!!...Thats tough, and it fallen twice but it never broken, but if its frm China,...well its your fate...hehehehe

if you need this handset for music player / video player.
First thing beside upgrade the firmware to the latest are, set it to the "offline mode".
I guarantee that you will never found any trouble as restarting, hang, or slowing program..
I thought this handset need to be disconnected from cellular signal if you need a "multimedia mode"..

Nokia N96 is the superb phone i have ever used it have all the specifiactions but the only thing is that it is nt I touch.rest all the features are good...and i have read some comments that they say it hangs a lot my phone never hangs i am using it from 5 months.......

so far i have returned second n96 phone within a
month, the first one failure from the box, the srean was freezing and the second did the same. phoned service provider and i was told that i will be getting the new again cause they cant fix it. what will happen if it does the same? if they send me one again it will be the third in month.

the n96 does that dude,it happened 2 me aswel but i think its doing that 4 a week or 2,restart,but if u switch ur n96 off often u wont hav that problem alot

i bought a N96 a month ago & i update v30.033 firmware
but i found myphone restarting by its own (exmpl: when listening to music or when i on call more than 30mins)
please help me! how to get rid of this problm ?

this phone is average,i update my firmware 2 v30.033 but the fone is still slow in opening a browser

rowel, 11 Aug 2009i dont if my cp is china phone i will trow it to the trushc... moredont believe me? just go to nokia store, play with n85 a bit, than press power button, do to last row, and you will find Activate power saving. and than, you will believe in me. that was not a joke. probably that is the different thing of using arm9 264Mhz.

Naveen, 11 Aug 2009can any one tell me pls which is the best @ music ??? n96?... moreyes. i absolutly agree with u. my 85 is also had Bass-Lack either.it cannot fixed by turn on the bass booster,trust me. the song will come weird,very far from natural sound, super distortion. well to fixed it, the lack of bass problem, i just use walkman earbud earphone, or use another brand such as iphone or philips or else. my n85 with hpm-77 from sonyericsson making great combination, the bass is rich, treble also, and most importing is the song more natural than before! heheheh just my opinion, thanks

U must be kidding!
Not enough bass! all u need to do is to go the song u want to listen and then press option>equalizer>bass booster>edit!
I've set all options to maximum.
If it's still not good enough, it has to be song quality or yr ears!
or buy HIFI system!
