This mobile phone I buy just the first month of release in Dubai, thinking I will get a good stuff, but, the real experience is that this is probably the slower phone ever seen. You almost can take a warmer shower while this phone "think" any feature or function activated. I am very unsatisfyed with my nokia n96. Nice phone, but is slower than a turtle out of the sea.
Don't buy it.

Someone told me I can use my phone has a webcam. Cannot find any instructions on that. Idea anyone or it's not possible at all?

aj2009, 11 Aug 2009It does have energy saving option! go to: Tools>Setting>G... moreno, i meant power saving that will set your display to very minimun power usage. power saver that you've told is just like timer when the display must off. its totally different dude. when u set to power saving, it will shown crescent moon on battery meter. and about video editing,well my 85 can did it. Hmmm i thought there are big differences between S60 3.2 N96 with another (i guess)thanx

To transfer contacts etc., u need to switch with other phone it would ask if u want to switch and a password.
u can reply with yes and password should be 0000.

It does have energy saving option!
go to:
Tools>Setting>General>Personalisation>display>Power Saver Time-out

haw do you set a ring tone on a nokia n96 i set one but it is so quiet i can not hear it and the volume is up loud as it can i have been trying for about 1 month and i am getting pretty peed off

I had bee usig this for last one year. It is good in all respect. However, I am not able to edit video clips like N95. I used N95 for a year. In this case I sometime feel N95 is better than N96.
However, there may be way to edit vedio clips. If so please help me how ro do.

itz a gud handset not much complaints abt it.bt yesterday i found out a big problem in da music player.da shuffle mode for the songs doesn't works.da songs comes in a serial.as i hv bot dis phone for music n videos so itz a big problem.i wud b grateful if sm1 comes wid a solution 2 it asap.tnx in advance.waiting........

SONY, 30 Jul 2009ppl if u hav not decided to buy a ph ....save ur money........ moredont buy sony, most useless phones ever, mine is stuffed after 4 mnths speaker doesnt work, lags like crazy shuts off for no reason, starts doing completely random stuff ugh its a c905 so i dont have some bog spec 10 yr old phone.

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2009I cant find da power saving modethere in no power saving mode? how strange, a tough there were the same between S60 ver 3.2 coz my N85 have it, a dont know bout N78, N79.. hmmm.. maybe u just upgrade ur firmware to 30.

Worst handset ever used. After using it for 2 months. The slider never stops wobling. Power button is sunken into body and to turn phone off have to take off the battery. If vibra is on, it's slider beats like a drum. Flaws in software after upgrade. The back cover gives sounds when held in hand. My hardwork money is wasted. First N70 and now N96. Hate you. You have looted me.
