Processor speed is not the only matter.Other things need to be considered among of whichare FSB ram clock speed,caches,heat output,energy consumption etc.As u can see that a mobile has very narrow tolerances about heat dissipation & battery usage,the specs may look similar but performance wise theres a lot of difference.I use n97 slowly & it works.

thanx to tose who has given me solutions to my phone but now i have fone the factory seeting still the call log is still constant..not changing but when i use the factory setting ..it will start and bosst normal..but having problems with call log..

i got the n97,its a nice one,. but its to bad there is no option for shared e-net.
(using u phone for a modem)

yeah [C=1811]ur right.its absolutely nice mobile in the world.i like this soo much when before its launch its my dream set and now after all i get it.i love my nokia n97 soo much.nokia ur always nice.keep it up and plz launch new firmware for more finest update.nokia n97 rockssss.

Im an owner of Nokia N97, yes I do agree,, diz fone nids a stable software, i bought diz fone is becuz its nokia n it has a lot of features, like FM transmitter,, which is not found in high end samsung or apple phones, =D
Yes, i do tink a symbian^3 without pinch zooming(due to lack of capacitive touch screen), graphics effects n coverflow(due to lack of graphics accelerator) update is very possible for diz fone, =D
Symbian^3 update is very important as it has QT which allows software developers to easily create new softwares,, so if there's no symbian^3 update for nokia n97, den there will be little software for diz fone,, =(

I know people hate this fone and with good reason but i am sticking with it,,youve got to know its foibles and quirks..I also know people say it should work and it should not have faults or quirks but at time of making Nokia did not forsee the future..The touch interface needed ram and the explosion of facebook twitter just overloaded a system that was designed 18 months beforehand..
I am going to use n97 for another year and its going to work for what i want which is not to heavy workload but reasonable,ie
photos/video recording & playing
twitter updates
web
txt/mms/email
clock/morning alarm
mp3
calender
etc just general
The n97 is not really a gaming machine but thats fine i only play 3 simple games and go for personel best.I have white one and it looks gorgeous and i love the writing on the hinge it shows whats under the bonnet like a car.Nokia new devices dont impress me as i put in early post,hell we are going backwards Nokia again ie battery/fixed focus/no card slot leaving pathetic slow internal memory to use..
Come on nokia what happened to you ,n86/n95/e90 were great, i think your doing what other companys are doing and trying to make an i-phone,well get over it its been done do your own thing..Do what you done in past bringing out superb n-models button fones...

I try to get rid of junk i do not use & if i cant get rid of i put it in a folder & name it unused apps.I dont use accu weather or facebook on homescreen cause it sucks up Mb of memory.Yes Nokia should give this another update and remember most symbian models end up at v50 firmware..

[C=1811], 18 Sep 2010Im using a white Nokia N97 now,,da fone is nice, but da sof... moreYeah, i agree with you...i bought it for $700+ same here in singapore...it needs to have a great/stable firmware update...Nokia, don't ever give up on N97 just because the N8 is releasing soon..we spent so much money it's perfectly reasonable to demand a better performance...specs wise it's already superior even compared to the current iPhone 4... All it needs badly right now is having a very stable software..i will not sell my N97 no matter what..cause i spent so much money on this and the price dropped dramatically too..if i sell it,i must be nuts..apart from the issues it's an awesome phone..so please don't let us-N97 users down..thanks

E7 has fixed focus camera and 1200mA battery and NO card slot,,its a total letdown and gsmarena scores prove that..

very niec top in the list.mine n97 is made from, finland and really guys its so nice multitasking+net speed+touch experience.too much nicer.im loving my n97.its too nice looks and too nice features.but u have guts to use this lovely cell.its for only sophisticated persons not any hanky person.but dont buy china made buy only korean or finland made.100/100 keep it up nokia u always rockks.
