The problem with this phone is it's restricted RAM memory ,in fact you can run this down very easily and the phone then operates poorly
Pity the mass E memory of 32 gigabytes does link with C phone memory
Apart from this a lovely device,great apps from Ovistore.

yeshwanth, 11 Sep 2010is this mobile suggestible to buy ??????.....i really like ... moreif you're lucky you can get a phone that is good but if not you might get a phone that has a defect like my 5800 if i use the restore factory setting after that i can't create a profile,still my 5800 is still working fine for almost 1 year and 1 month

I've a N97 since it was launched and I'm still satisfied with it. it does everything I need and it can bee synced to lotus notes (what is a major positif function for me )

One of the best phones ever. Pitty they removed the 3D HardwareAccelerator but it is top notch...have it for like 3 months now and I'm very pleased...NOTE:Mine is made in CHINA and compared to made in FINLAND...had both of them at home only difference is FINLAND actually survived longer than CHINA by 2 and a half days (BATTERY POWER) so that's the only downfall. C ya

those who have N97, just tell me if your handset is from Finland or Hungary? because GENUINE mobile doesn`t have battery problems and slowness. Don`t waste your money buying mobile made in China.camera is not good it`s yellowish resolution. Original will always be original made in the homeland by conceptors and expert. Others just COPY and reproduce the handset.Wear real GOLD not Gold PLATED

how 2 use bluetooth .. every time when i try to open the bluetooth function it gives an error "unable to perform this operation.." what 2 do ?? i dont know.. please help me.

somu, 05 Sep 2010is there video calling facility available in nokia n97 ?Regarding video calling, I installed Fring on my N97 and was able to do video calling.

Nokia N97 is a good phone but the problem is the battery had to replace it after 10 months of usage..

I have had this phone for a few months now, supplied by the bank I work for as a work phone. It's the biggest piece of junk ever to be hailed as a 'flagship model' Actually its just a piece of junk in general.
When it works its ok, if a bit slow. It crashes more than Lyndsey Lohan after a week long bender. Even turning it off properly with the power button does in no way guarantee it will start up again. It can take 20-30 attempted restarts before it will eventually start up properly and grace your presence with a working phone. Rather buy 2 tin cans and some string, it would be a lot better
