I have had this phone for a few months now, supplied by the bank I work for as a work phone. It's the biggest piece of junk ever to be hailed as a 'flagship model' Actually its just a piece of junk in general.
When it works its ok, if a bit slow. It crashes more than Lyndsey Lohan after a week long bender. Even turning it off properly with the power button does in no way guarantee it will start up again. It can take 20-30 attempted restarts before it will eventually start up properly and grace your presence with a working phone. Rather buy 2 tin cans and some string, it would be a lot better

I am using Nokia N97 Mini,so it needs the input password when i'm trying to cancel the names from the SIMCARD.Kindly,help

I agree with teejpaul.
I have no problem with n97.
I am heavy user and my batter last for 2 and half days without charging.
Learn how 2 use this set guys.I am using it for more than a year and its simply rocking with 32 gb.

Lol this phone was great 1 year ago but nowadays only an ignorant person will buy this because of it's poor battery and slowness.

i dont really know why the negative comments about this phone.my battery is ok and every other features are working properly.its another masterpiece from nokia..

But now i have another q. : Now i have a n95 8GB,and i want to upgrade to a touchscreen, but the powerful one ( nokia fan :D ).I play "Augument" games and I'm playing movies with subtitles without any conversion (700MB AVI, res. 680x340, smart movie player 3rt part app.) and i have a fluent image thanks to graphic accelerator and dual CPU.
If n97 cannot use graphic acc. for 3rd part app., only for nokia official app. i must convert the movies??No "augument" games? the master n97 is powerless than n95 8gb? I test "augument" games and movies on 5800xm (no graph acc. but same CPU as N97 ), but both app. fail. N97 will do the same? Only the N8 is capable to play movies without conversion ? anyway ...i'm interested to have features too.

I bought this phone for my dad for his birthday. Paid close to 35000 INR = USD 755. This phone started to hung right from day one. The customer care people advised me to update my software i did that, still the phone hung. The touch is not very smooth, My dad is so not impressed that he wants to give away this phone and wants to move on to another one. The phone is just 6 months old. :-(

you cant chat with the facebook software with the ones that came wit the n97 but u can download another soft wares and start chatting "numbuzz" "ebuddy" "opera 10" etc....

I've had my phone for about a year now and for some reason the battery drains at the end of the day. the battery used to go for 3 days without needing a charge. is anyone else experiencing this problem? my firmware is up to date and i don't always use the phone to its full potential (music, movies etc)
