It happened to me, and I browsed around the File Manager and found Images and Videos not meant to be there after I had already set my camera app to save to my memory card.
So, I just moved the Images and Videos, and those I couldn't move, I Bluetoothed to my PC.
My C/ now has enough space with no further error prompts...

The firmware problems alone wasn't worth it. The processor, opening apps are slow & sluggish etc. If not read the reviews.

I got nothing against the N97 Mini. In fact, I'd like to have one as a backup phone. But if you're happy with just 8gb in-built memory, the absence of the FM transmitter, and want a smaller handset then the Mini is right for you. Otherwise, wait for the N8 to come out.
Ricardo-Mexico: I recommended this handset to a friend and It's not working well... doesn't have "enough memory" in the display.
Your friend is experiencing one of the most common problems amongst N97 users, and that is the C:/ memory running out. Personally, I think Nokia did make a mistake in giving the N97's C:/ memory around 73mb.
The biggest consumers of C:/ memory would be applications, MMS messages, and to a certain extent even software (or firmware) updates. But the latter could also redistribute and optimise memory consumption, just like what Memory Reorganiser 1.0 had done and as well as the use of the D:/ memory by Ovi Maps.
At the moment, the only advice I can give is for your friend to use the C:/ memory wisely.

First of all I'm a big fan of Nokia, but It happened something that I don't like..I recommended this handset to a friend and It's not working well...
He has just bought It and It appears that doesn't have "enough memory" in the display.
Why is that? It's a software matter?
My friend had a Blackberry....The Blackberry had a lot of problems.. And Now He is having trouble with the N97.
Here in Mexico take so long to return the phone to the store in order to investigate what's wrong with It..It takes 15 days! Nokia You should check that. That process should take not so much time..I know that the N97 is one of he great stars of Nokia. But some of them have Software problems.

Well there is a a new firmware release and this is the version v22.0.110. After i updated i noticed a great improvement on the phone performance and it works now smoothly!!! I reccomend it!!!!

in the n97 browser, i can't seem to find the option where you get to automatically identify a phone number, email address, or a website address. any idea?
