          GUyz,

Has anyone else been able to update to 22.0.110 version ????

Also another thing, ,,i cant seem to find the Facebook aap for N97 ..seems like the one that is available on OVI is not supporting N97 even thou the description says that it is for Sybian S60 phones....

can anyone tell me where to download a bug free Facebook app?

another thing ,,, do i have to go on GPRS everytime i want to use the ovi maps or can i download them on my phone and use them offline whenever needed?

azry: how much need to pay to enable the document editing feature?

Upgrading your Quickoffice to the version where you can create and edit office documents can be done through Quickoffice itself or through the Ovi Store.

Back in March, the Quickoffice 6 Mobile Suite used to be £6.00 if bought from Ovi Store here in the UK. Now it has gone up to £8.00.

Also in March, it cost me £7.46 when I bought the Quickoffice Premier 6 from Quickoffice. Not sure how much it would be now, though.

Just do the math to find out how much it would be in your currency.

stevie: How does the speed of flicking few menus etc compare tro previous N95 N96? my N96 is so slow and looking at the N97 how does the camera also compare on this to the N96?

Personally, I don't think it would be fair to compare a symbian 3rd device from a symbian 5th, especially in terms of the snappiness of the UI.

Be that as it may, I would say without bias that my N97 browses through menus and submenus a second or two faster than my N96 (which is even on v30). Although I can't notice any difference between them when it comes to the camera.

I still enjoy using my N96 as a backup phone, though.

The N97 mini only has 8gb of mass storage by default. Either you only have 8 or you have keyed in the word 'mini' by mistake. Anyway, the previous post was correct in saying that you could always choose the Mass Memory as the default storage for your messages (including anything sent via bluetooth). Go to Messaging>Options>Settings>Other>Memory in use.

For much larger files, you might want to connect your N97 to your PC via USB cable instead and it doesn't matter if it runs on Windows or Mac OS. Just choose 'Mass Storage' as the USB connection mode. Read the phone's user manual for more details.

                        Hey guys.
To all ya'll having problems saving to the 32GB internal memory, all you need to do is go to your message settings, set the memory there for the Mass Memory, because remember, when you receive files via bluetooth, it goes to your messages and then you save from there...

Hope this helps to those who need it..

Nokia has something similar to that, and you can find it in the N97. It's called Ovi Contacts. Using it to chat with friends is free via WiFi. Unless you have a data plan for your phone, you may be charged by your network if you connect through their web service.

Ninja, 06 Jul 2010Will this get threaded messaging later?Ninja: Will this get threaded messaging later?

I sure hope so. I hope it gets added in future software (or firmware) updates. Not that I would like to have it so to look like I have that 'other' phone but it is quite practical.

The closest that the N97 has gone to having threaded SMS is through an application that is available in Ovi Store. I'm not sure as to how much it costs or if you can get it for free.

And no, I don't have that application on my N97. I can do without it for now.

asanda , 06 Jul 2010hey everyone please help me as i have this problem with my ... moreAsanda: I have this problem with my phone... Froze yesterday... The memory is full.

Anything you receive via bluetooth gets saved in the C memory by default. The video that was sent to your phone must have been big enough to consume most of that memory.

I would advise you to do a 'hard' reset to restore your N97 back to how it was when you first got it. Resetting the phone to 'factory settings' only resets the settings, but does not clear up enough C memory.

I would like to tell you how to do that, but GSMArena may delete this post if I do. Don't worry as you'll find it all over the web. But I have to warn you, it will delete everything on the C memory that was not there by default so better do a backup of those first, or find a way to save and retrieve them for when the N97 starts to work properly.

                                  Hope this works for you.
