As N900 is newly released we cant relay on the Maemo OS.
Also Nokia phones facing crash report sending problem.
Device automatically sends auto generated SMS to a number in finland and those sent messages will not appear in the log of phone.So you never know a phone is sending messages or not until u get ur mobile bill.
Where as N97/Mini are released sometimne ago. So Nokia might have fixed those issues if any.

I m using N97 since 8 months..i think it is the best phone one can get in this price..according to my experience..
Advantages:
1-Angular Slider-gives awesome experience to use
2-32 GB memory-can store a no. of movies
so,considering above 2 points,it becomes a pocket laptop
for watching movies..(obviously converted in MP4 format-Try AVS Video Converter)
3-5MP camera
4-ultimate battery backup
5-MUSIC QUALITY...believe me frnz..i found its Bass effect even better than Apple...and i m 100% sure...u can compare it urself..
Disadvantages-
1-Hanging Problem
2-Touchscreen is not very good
3-camera flash makes a white shadow in pics
so,All over, i think it is a worth phone...and one should definitely think of it..

Hi I bought the N97 as a relplacement for my N82. Was allways a BIG nokia Fan and therefor wanted the best. I am now stuck in a 2 yr contract with an absolutely lousy phone, It froze like 10 time this month, its gps doesnt pick up streets even after ovi map updates and internet back up, it is so slow you cant believe and you have to waight for simple apps to open ??.. Its a large lump of old tec . I will now be going back to my N82 to use as I found this phone to be better than the n97. Sorry nokia youve lost a customer for ever

Hey all,I am urgently in need of some feedback. What are the pro's & contra's of the Nokia N900? I need a new mobile, and can't choose between Nokia N900, N97 mini and N97? My brother tells me to buy the old 5800 xpress because he has one and he loves it and never crashes,wifi is perfect,everything works just great plus it's way cheaper than N900 and N97.
I read in some reviews that N97mini includes however a bigger internal (phone) memory and an improved keyboard than the N97.
Important for me is; bluetooth, radio, normal picture quality, flash-light, wifi, 3G, low SAR, Radio, nice applications, good sound, good touchscreen, clear pixels.
A good battery quality is vip; I had the previous nokia and had to charge it almost every day!
It would be nice to be able to view Word and Pdf files or Document Viewer in the phone.
I am not much of a gamer, so duno if there is any difference for that in the mobile phones?
I also dont think I will need 32GB of memory, 8GB would be more than enough.
Crashes etc happen in all phones if you use too many appl at once so I am not relying on that.
Any suggestions from ppl using these phones?????

I do find the touch screen is more suited to be used with a stylus than your fingers. I have no trouble selecting things with my finger tip, but when I have to do things like drag items or scroll, I end up using my finger nail.
Capacitive touch screens like on the iPhone I find are better suited for using your finger tip. Scrolling and dragging objects with capacitive touch screens is much easier when using your finger tip. You just cannot use a stylus or wear gloves.

my N97 is geting alle the time in facebook, is tis rigt? i like my phone i really a presiete it but let me tel you some thing. alle the phone is just westing the time. we found any kind of phone but non of them is beter. what we use in the fone?(pictuers,musique; phoning, Alarm Inthernet, and wtha hels? nothnig. how much we pey?you know the prise. but this is inbelivebel to live like this. you are making us pey the bigers facture and just keping the phone for 4 monts of the 4 monts its must have som ting wrong.

fring has been a great compliment to nokia users as it allow to access all address books and even brings them into one screen and it even works for skype:D
but i would like to know if there will ever be an app. for msn messenger direectly in the near future.
Another question: will nokia be releasing a 'S' series soon? There are some rumours about the S series being real high end, so im expecting something that would make me say OMG!!

I got this phone regardless of reading negative reviews on it and im glad i got it, as it has a lot of the features i want in a phone especially the large 32 G hard drive. Upgrading the firmware immediately is recommended to improve performance. Admittedly it does freeze on the odd occasion, but is rectified by simply restarting the phone. My only gripe is that an AV cable wasnt included in the box. The phone is easy to use, looks great and good for people who are tech savvy.

Well my friend has this phone and I was also planning to buy this phone, but I was disappointed with the touch screen.
Probably itz best to add more money and go in for the IPhone.
