This sensor detects that and locks the screen so you do not inadvertantly start pressing things, launching applications or hang up during your call.

Hi all
i want to change my E61i ,but still confuse what type and brand should i buy?? Is it samsung omnia II,moto droid,i phone 4 or this nokia N97 ?? Can u tell me the good and bad the new firmware of N97 ?? Somebody tell me that the N97 mini got better earphone like in SE walkman series ? Is it true ?? Thanks

my n97 keeps losing internet connection all the time?? is this normal it happens and the i have to re-boot phone to get connection again.

love the phone but usb detector stopped working for me... Anyone know any solutions besides bringing it back to nokia

You definitely need the latest firmware as I found that the N97 is annoyingly sluggish and unstable without it. Upgrading the firmware should be the first thing you do.
One thing you need to be aware of is that the email widget stopped working for me after I upgraded to the latest firmware. To get it working again, you need to download and install it again from the Ovi site. This was the only thing I actually needed to reinstall. None of my other apps were affected at all by the firmware upgrade.

hi guys. i am planning to get a new phone and i have narrowed it down to e72, BB Bold 9700 and the big n97. i currently have the e71 and have been using it for 9 months. i like the Bold but i have to pay to use its features. the e72 has weak speakers and i dont really like the design. so the n97 is my best choice. but with the latest firmware is it stable? does it hang and slows down? please help.

I was surprised to find out yesterday that N900 had only 65,000k colours, while N97 had up to 16 million colours. So I want to know which one has better display. That's in terms of colour. Which one has better picture display?

some one offerd me a 2 week used N97 and but its feels much lighter in weight than the N97 with my friends its almost brand new , my question is ,, has nokia made any enhancments on the weight or not ?

Hi !!
My advice for Nokia N97 users is please this phone needs some patience, purchases and remember that the most important thing is you should know much about latest technologies. This phone I have used for three months and my money was well spent. I however have a back up Nokia E72 and a superior Laptop........you cant expect one thing to do everything.
