Plz friends...never ever buy NOKIA N 97.
Its my sincere advise...plz do not BUY N 97.I am advising you after throwing my hard earned money into the dustbin.
No battery...evrytime hang...and specially swith off and on by its own choice atleast by 4-5 times in a day.
I hv made my life hell....now its ur turn

Can anyone help, please.....
My N97 keep on playing the nokia default ringtone, even thou I have a mp3 song put as a ringtone. I thought it was because of the small memory, but now I formated and have more than 40mb on C:.
Anybody have a solution?

Please have the time to... morethe whiteness on the side of the screen while taking a picture with a flash is not the lens i have had my entire lens recently replaced and it has that problem i believe it is because since the lens and flash light are recessed that the flash reflects off the plastic surrounding the lens and causes the white effect

My n97 got sliding prob. when i slide up, the right part is quite shaky tho... any idea how? n..... i wana know, when do we normally slide up? i think it's not necessary to do that? even when u call? sms? surfing the net maybe? lol.

i bought an n97 on aug'09.My problem with the cell is that it switches off all of a sudden.Could u plz say why does it happens.

Please help!hey Stephen, i was checking my N97 product code daily on nokia site to get the latest firmware v21.x update available for my mobile. So, i got it and then i upgraded it. I think u should try checking your mobile product code on Nokia site. I am in Malaysia and i think we are the last one on the earth to get the latest firmware. Cheers!

Nokia N97 was disappointed me deeply...
EVERY DAY, my fried call me and find that my phone(Nokia N97) is not active, but actually my phone is active and I never shut my phone down. I CAN'T ACCEPT A CALL EVEN A MESSAGE. I must shut my phone and turn it on again every day...
I just buy it 5 months ago...

firmware v21 is so good. The kinetic moving is awesome. Have you try new Ovi map? v3.04... It cool... Now it is able to search out of you current city.

hey ppl, my n97 firmware v20. when i type msg, suddenly it will go back to inbox if i reply frm there. if i create new. it will go back also. i just cannot type msg. Any idea what happened?

I am 5000% your camera lens are ALL SCRATCHED and needs to be replaced.
I got mine replaced and the pics are all better.
