becool, 20 Jan 2010task bad luck bro with yr fone....well this is the best fon... moreAm working in nokia dealership store. N 97 mini is the best. It's a bit advanced than N97 and no issues at all with this model.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2010does anybody have any problems with the pictures taken? whe... moreyour problem with the flash reflecting causing a hazing of the image is a common one its caused by the light from the flash refracting through the lens covering itself not the sliding cover if you notice that the aperture for the dual flash sits slightly lower than the lens cover exposing the edge of the plastic lens this allows light from the flash to travel sideways towards the camera lens and cause the hazing on the image to cure this take a fine tipped permanent marker pen and run it around the inside edge of the flash aperture a couple of times and this will cure the hazing . I take no credit for this tip as i read this on another website but can attest that it does work as my n97 had a similar fault and this did the trick good luck . Cliff

task283, 20 Jan 2010cheers becool, I agree it is an awsome phone but since goin... moreBro after u update yr fone to version 20...u shld format yr fone and mass memory and back up only contacts , sms, calender, and notes...do not back up setting and user files...u can go to dailymobile.se fr lot off N 97 stuff..there u will find memory organizer..and lot of awesome stuff....good luck..

cheers becool, I agree it is an awsome phone but since going to v20 on all handsets i've still had the same issues. including not being able to get the memory orgoniser software. I've checked all the support sites and still do not get this update through my handset. last 2 i recieved was Ngage and nokia mail(very nice). I'm not keen on removing all the apps and reinstalling on mass memory as i suspect this is what might have killed the first one. Any ideas on where to get the reogoniser online?

task bad luck bro with yr fone....well this is the best fone ever...i have been using this one fr good 8 months now..there was only software problem...but after version 20 its working awesome...no fone has yet cme to beat it....most people leave the apps running in background..tats y the ram dies....and lately nokia released memory organizer..wic i installed...and now i have nokia messaging..ovi chat...2 widgets online whole day..and the fone works just fine....iam very happy with it till nokia releases smething better....guys make sure u kill all apps running in back ground....good luck...and wat awesome games on ovi..tat too free...try TOON WARES...GAGING THUNDER...AND...ALLL...

Just received my 4th N97, and have to say very dissapointed. Could have been an amazing phone and am reluctant to switch to another handset as the features are unbeatable. If only the thing would work. 1st handsets software wouldcrash all the time and would not charge from Micro usb or mains if any programs were running. 2nd phone had screen issues when i took it out of the box, on front of delivery driver. 3rd phone WSOD and hard reset would not work. This 4th phone arrived and seemed to be a different beast! Great everything works i thought. that was until i charged it over night and the heat from the Micro USB connector Melted, thats right Melted the back cover of the phone and warped the Micro SD card. So unfortunatly for my own safety and mental health i'm on the hunt for a similar spec machine from a different maker (no more nokia for me :-( Kudos to Vodafone throughout the first 4 months of my contract for replacing every handset within a week though! Sorry Nokia bad move....

My Sister has this phone from a week, she mentioned it is very good, however, it has bad feature which is its Music player is so bad as its sound is so so bad.
does anyone has any program that works with N97 for music player?

The worst s60 ever made by Nokia. Very weak hardware,very slow phone. Come on Nokia whats wrong with you? Samsung and SE already use Cortex A8 in S60 phones,what are you waiting Nokia ??? And this resistive screens make me crazy :(

Tried this N97 white color few days, the keypad letter very difficult to see, phone turn hot when display ON more than 5 minutes (watching video, play games, internet surfing) and slow response.

Just got my N97 white yesterday...
nice and cool phn... but the WSOD just happend to me just now.. hard reset it... and all files gone... hope WSOD wont happend again..
other than that.. everything seems fine... any nice apps to intro?

Seems like a great phone only had it two days but trying to get someone from ... enhance techs to ring me is almost impossible. Once you buy it, no one wants to know you is that right O....s, I want to know where my phone settings are my other N97 has it.
