Is this better than the mini? I want a lighter phone. Dont need it to hold gigs of stuff. If it's lighter weight will it be faster like cars are? My last phone was a T9 with the button to have the microphone flip down. 3 batteries and 15 years later it still is the best phone for a 67yo man. my eyesight is going so I thought a keyboard would be nice, is it a normal size keyboard that you can use on your PC?

hi guys.i have this phone.everythings is same with nokia 5800.there is only 2 deferences.the memory and the camera.dont buy this phone.5800 is so cheeper than n 97.and the 5800 has more applications.thats my mistakes.after this i well never buy nokia.sony ericson and the sumsung are so much good than this phone

the worst phone i have ever experienced.it hangs aplications multiple times daily nd i hav to restart the phone again.isnt any firmware update available so that it makes its software beter?

The price is not correct.
You say it's less expensive than the N97 mini.
The price in Holland is 659 euro's.

went to Nokia Care to have the lens replace. They dont have the back cover. After that, i dropped my Nokia N97 infront of them. is my warranty void? It slipped my hand. They were like 'what?!! Is he mad?'

would like to know if N97 can photograph the screen and save as image. iphone can. also does it ring as loud as N96. am concerned about the problems i am reading on this page i thought the glitches were worked out in new stock

am considering buing the N97 as the N900 is not yet available in australia. does it have the function of photographing the screen so i can print that image instead of having to go to nokia care centre it cost me $140 for them to print off my sms's. the iphone has this function. does it ring as loud as the N96? also not sure the reviews are saying too many problems i thought they were sorted out in the new batch.

Nick, 30 Dec 2009Probably a silly question, but I don't know too much about ... moreYou cant just increase the phone's RAM but there's a possible on increasing the phone memory but it has to be plugged into the USB to reflash it. It's a long way than just use a program to increase/split PC hard drive partition. Why would Nokia be bothered to increase the phone memory? it's a hard procedure and it has to be done in a Nokia Care if they ever give the GO signal.
Hopefully, my design phone will pass through the judgement and hopefully, it will become the N910. lol

Probably a silly question, but I don't know too much about phones and tech stuff...is it possible to increase RAM with a firmware update? Or are you stuck with original amount of ram? I don't get too many ram problems with my n97, only occasionally when i play videos (i can't have too much else open, which is fine) but it would be nice to have more. Also, can nokia increase c drive with firmware updates?
