Has anyone been able to update their firmware to v20.1 yet? Over on the daily mobile site, it says that the new firmware should be available before the end of the year, for some product codes at least. Only a couple of days to go now. I checked, not available for my australian n97 yet but i didn't get v20 until 3 weeks after it was released so it'll probably be a similar story this time around as well. Hopefully the new firmware will fix the rebooting problem i have..

marvin, 29 Dec 2009check if your phone is already have 2.0 fw, if not update nowmy n97 still has no update available, im stuck with v12 T_T (0586199 is my phone's product code) i check every week, and its almost a month!

Mem Card Trick is not a regular feature, Fed up of carrying a mem card, in office or after silient mode changed to normal. Ovi free apps should be tested by Nokia, if they are cause of boot frereze.
Nokia i spend 700$ to get white, since month I am frustrated even after update 20 latest boot freeze is damm there,
. Nokia feed back team listen and react, I will be the first man on earth to publically burn my set, with media press present!

You need to make sure that you are updating the software regularly. faults where the phone is crashing etc is where the user isn't looking after it properly

Forget Nokia they are heading for bankrupcy
Just two weeks ago, a suggestion that Apple could sell 10 million iPhones during the current quarter began to make its way around the Mac investor and rumor communities. At the time, the claim was significantly higher than analysts' consensus in the 8-9 million range, and was thus viewed with some skepticism.
Tech Trader Daily today reports on an Apple stock upgrade from Broadpoint AmTech analyst Brian Marshall, who has done things one better by pushing his quarterly iPhone sales estimates to 11.3 million on the strength of international sales.
Meanwhile, Broadpoint.AmTech analyst Brian Marshall boosted his target this morning to $260, from $235, repeating his Buy rating. Marshall's note focused on explaining his higher-than-consensus estimate for December quarter iPhone sales: he sees 11.3 million units in the quarter, above the Street at an estimated 8.8 million. Marshall sees U.S. units down 20% sequentially, to about 2.5 million units, but with international units more than doubling sequentially to 8.8 million units.

I bought my N97 some 15 days back and got the software updated as well. I am using the phone for mails and accessing internet, chatting etc. and it is working fine.

i always take photos with my n97, so far no problems, if there is, its fault of my shaky hands,
-blurry images: i was shaking when i capture images.
-flash bang effect: i slightly jerked my hand while the flash of camera flashes, (it happened so many times that i almost got frustrated, but then realized it was me,
-scratches on camera lens: i dont care, as long as it does not affect the image quality, (i have diagonal scratch along the camera lens, but still take good vidz and picz, though all my camera phones has scratches on lens)
-OVI malfunction: i hate OVI app!!! always opens when i browse ovi through web browser!!! need hard RESET!!!
-LAGGING: i have apps that eats 85% of ram, (if this occurs, dont do anything, the phone just snap back to the main screen, or restart or turns itself off, 2-3mins of time interval)
-squeaky back cover: because of the not so hot swap micro sd card slot (when i place my n97 inside the carrying case or take it out, i always hear a squeak sound LOL!!!)
