been using this phone for 6 six days now. It's been just amazing to have this phone. The spex are really off the roof. The 32gb mem, 5mpix w/ video ligth (very uselful at night), decent batt life, large screen among others are just all jaw dropping. I never cease to be amazed.... These are based on my 6-day orient on MY phone coz it depends on the software one has. Mine is V20 and what amazed me is i bougth this 1 6days ago yet the manufacturing date as per nokia care certification is dec 12, meaning yet to come.

shaun, 10 Dec 2009Nokia care and Telenor its a joke! thats why i started my o... moreThis is the worst device that I have ever bought in my life. I have upgraded this from V 11 to 12 and now to 20.. Same set of problems. I wonder that they have released this product without any testing. Can somebody help me reach out Nokia corporate customer service so that we can launch a formal complaint
1) The device hangs on multiple occassions. Unpredictable
2) Bad memory management- very slow and screens take 2-4 seconds to refresh
3) Pathetic battery life.
4) batt heats up so much that, we have to remove the batt once and reboot it to cool down
NOKIA.. PLEASE HELP

I recently bought the N97(manufacturing date sept 1)I have not had any of the problems that so many people have complained about such as dead screen, camera lense scratching, lagging etc. I have updated to the latest firmware which I think has helped as well. I'd recommend the phone but make sure you get a recently manufactured phone so you don't end up with the faulty camera cover. I should also note that I stay away from the ovi store since I know people have had problems when using the apps but I'm quite cautious and my cell music is from albums.

I have read that blue lens cover of N97 are scratching ones and brown ones which are original N86 lens cover are safe. Does anyone know about this?

Nokia care and Telenor its a joke! thats why i started my own group on Facebook "I hate my N97". I have at least 5 problems on my N97
Battery,GPS,Scratched Lens,Internal Memory,Rebooting etc... and i have spent hours of my life trying to fix the impossible.
We spend our hard earnt money buying these FLAGSHIP (joke) products just to end up with a useless device that doesnt work and has the worlds worst support! Please join and share your experiences as more voices can make changes

Hi, I work in a large telecommunications business and can honestly say that this is the worst nokia phone on the market. It is unreliable and more than 50% of the models sold have come back withint the early life failure period with predominantly software problems. I have even seen a few come out of the box not working.
