Anonymous, 04 Dec 2009You got quick office for free? The full version (not free t... moreI'm not sure whether it's full version or not, but I can use it for creating, editing, viewing all offices files (.docx, .pptx, and excel files).
I've got the program but it's not 'signed' yet, means after I download I hv to 'sign' it using Freesigner (Of course I hv a certificate from OPDA.cn)
This Freesigner is very useful especially if you want to install a software that might not been approved by nokia yet (but I'm not saying it won't work). So far my N97 works OK after I did some signing unsigned softwares.

wanda, 03 Dec 2009i have had the phone for a week now & im loving every minut... moreAs far as I know, there is no free divx player for the n97. There are video converters, Smartmovie for instance. However you can use Ovi Suite to transfer your videos to your phone. It's very easy - just connect the phone via usb, then open ovi suite, then drag and drop the video into the video gallery. Then right click the video and choose "send to" then send to Nokia device. I do this with all my divx files.

To be able to run everything smoothly on your N97, you should at least left 20 MB or more in your C drive. The more the better, of course.
To clean C drive, you should perform soft reset by pressing *#7370#.
Install everything @ E drive, set your mailbox also @ E drive, your games, MP3 files, mp4 files, etc.
I'm sure those 30 gigs hard drive will give you more then enough to store anything.

I've upgrade it to FW20 via NSU, love the kinetic scroll so much. I hv no major issues, even the scratch lens didn't happen to me.
For N97 owners, I think you should look at lots of sites that provide free softwares for this phone. I'm joining one of the mailing list for N97 n got a lot of freeware, even I got a Quick Office that can create, edit documents, etc, for free!!!
So, don't hesitate to buy this N97 just because some of the owners complained about 'the' factory default. Buy this phone, n hv fun with it!

best phone ever maximum memory of 48GB with my 16GB memory card and the quality of video is awsome love the phone.

My N97 is like icecream- frozen most of the time and all I can do is lick it! Can't even sell it- the word is out- it's a bad phone... Sorry...

Can this N97 view PDF file?? i know it has PDF viewer but the RAM is just 128MP , so
can i read PDF file with 9 megabyte???

striker, 03 Dec 2009this phone is loud but the n95 is louder out of the three handsetthanx..=) i hope this has better sound quality than my g5ood old 5700xm....=D Did m ny1 check this with 5700?
