sad that nokia not offer this feature , i want skype out call over cell data and yahoo im over cell data as well cause i am using unlimited data plan

Why the hell i cant find the nokia IM application which is found in many nokia e series phone like e71?
Now what can i do to have it in n97?
Is nokia email in firmware 20 The latest one?

Since bought the phone, I have nvr had the pleasure of using it without hang up in a single day. I have sent it for re-format 3 times in 2 month's time. Nokia just doesn't know how to design and qualify a good software. Very disappointed

You get a free 10 day trial with jokuspot. And accuweather, facebook and qik can all be found in ovi store.

You can only answer calls using the "slide to answer" function. Apparently this is so you cannot accidentally answer calls (e.g. when the phone is in your pocket). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

sliding lens protector is big mistake, my phone got scarch because of it. i'd disapointed about that. i'm going to sell my phone n97. Nokia, why you didn't try it before release it. i'm nokia user for long time ago, now i use Sony Ericson Satio. poor nokia.

Dear guys,
i have a question, can cals be picked up by using the pick call button(the green soft key) and be disconnected using red key(soft key on right side), while the phone is in locked mode, i.e locked using the key pad and touch screen lock slider switch.
i cant pick or disconnect calls using soft keys(green and red) while, phone is in locked mode. i always have to slide using the touch screen.

I was just wondering if there is a FREE (wishful thinking, I know) app for managing office documents? It's disappointing that Nokia didn't include the full version of Quickoffice on this phone. Is there a free alternative out there?

How d... moreIn comparison to the iphone, the web browser of the n97 is a bit slower, and the overall experience is not as smooth or polished as the iphone. I find that the sidebar (which is on the right hand side) is too wide and eats up too much of the page, however it does disappear when the screen is idle (after a few seconds), and you get it back by tapping on the bottom right hand corner. Websites often do take a while to load, and what I find most frustrating is that you can't scroll through a page until the whole page has loaded (though you can start to watch videos). Also, pressing "back" reloads the entire page again, which can be particularly irritating if you're on a limited data plan. You can save images from web sites onto the phone, and Youtube videos actually load very quickly (I actually think it loads vids faster than the iphone). But I would definitely recommend that you get another browser (eg Skyfire, Opera). I use Opera Mobile myself, and do most of my web browsing on it. I only use the native browser for downloading files (which is actually quite fast), saving images and youtube.

Can anyone please talk about the phone's web browser? How do you find navigating web sites? Is it fast/slow? Can you save pictures from websites on to your phone? How does it compare to the experience of the Safari browser on the iphone? If I get this phone, would you recommend getting another browser, or will the native browser suffice? Thanks
