It takes technology and value for money on the products exactly what Apple is doing, reason of their unbelievable success.

Thus Nokia phones are value for money than an iPhone.

To NO SONY,
Well, have you used 1 of the new sony models, I am not talking about the old ones as I myself was never interested in sony cellphones until recently.
I really like the satio, but the qwerty keyboard is missing for me, otherwise that would have been my new cell rather than the n97.
As much as I like nokia, its the same old thing for me, not much advance camera or anything newer than my old nokia n95s and n82s. My friends have moved away from nokia to blackberry, I'll probably move to sony, but for now my new n97 is perfect for me.

No, there is no difference between black n97 and white, the price difference could be because of more demand for the white 1.

This phone comes with a major memory problem. The phone memory is minimal and once it fills itself up you can't delete files.
My phone will now not start and trying to find a Nikia care centre shop on the website is impossible.

Important for people to know what the Nokia BIG troubles are in order to evaluate the risks of buying a phone like the N97 full of bugs that is killing the company !!!

Better looks than iPhone
better form factor: removable battery
unlocked
cheaper than iPhone by 80%
no iTunes needed
decent sterea speaker
any headset is compatible, hate the white headset for iPhone and the poor material used
tilted screen, excellent !!!!!
Easy to hold in hand
not easy to find cracked apps than iPhone cracked apps(installous, cydia)
have many decent quality apps for work and entertainment
can survive a drop, not easily to be scratched
worth investing money in!!!!
