IPhone is disgusting and that is why!
No videocalls functionality
No FM radio
3 megapixel camera with limited feature set hardly cuts it for a high-end device
Theres still no flash or hardware shutter key for the camera
Despite the upgrade, battery life is still generally poor (2-year old iPhone 2G are still doing way better)
in my opinion: N97 is more more better than iphone in many things

Hi Sandy,
I bought this phone after a week of its launch. Firmware V10 had lots of bugs. updated it to V11 and now V12. no problems till now. it runs smoothly. i am not gettin low on RAM at all and i have widgets on the homescreen. the more widgets the more RAM consumption. this month V20 will be released so the N97 will be more stable.
i am having no hardware issues at all. perfect design, perfect cam, perfect sound, perferct screen, perfect memory, and its very durable.
i am perfectly satisfied with my N97 and i give NOKIA Two thumbs up.
i wont replace it untill the new communicator comes out :)
so in conclusion; if you are interested in this phone dont think twice go and get it. i garantee u, u will be 100% satisfied.

ozzi, 11 Oct 2009N97 is way better then iphone.Not according to the stock value of the two companies, Nokia is way down and Apple WAY WAY UP !

Got this phone. Its alright, but sometimes it tends to hang when u leave an app on for too long and then you have to restart the thing... don't know why! Very frustrating, but I can live with it.
What I do want to know is when the new firmware is available in the Netherlands?! Does anyone know?

My security code on Nokia N97 does not work. I have tried 12345 or 00000. Both are showing code error. I wish to reformat my phone. kindly help me with your valuable advise.

Sandy, 09 Oct 2009 he guys, i want to buy a new phone, i liked nokia n 97 but... morehi, me also a die hrt nokia fan.i was thinking to buy n97 frm the 1st day i've seen it. really cool looks. i went to nokia outlet last week nd they gave me a set for a while to see. but oops!! within 5min it hangs for 2times. and i noticed that n97 has a big problem with its screen size and resulation. i think 3.5'' screen wld perfect wth atleast 800X400. i think 97mini wldnt come with this problem ....The icons are really big and the scroll ber is also not suitable. i mean symbian s60v5 should have more decent looks. I didnt buy the fone . but i trust nokia . only they can give a big support . they ar upgrading it by firmware so fast. i m again going to buy this phone.

i heard that unlocked N97's firmware update will be out today, oct 10 and for Branded N97 is on Oct 19.
for unlocked N97, if you didn't get the new firmware today, then wait 'til Oct 19 which is confirmed.

Shame on everyone who bought a Nokia.did u not see what Nokia did to iran people??? Sure Nokia makes good phones but it sold it's self for a bit of cash.which it already had!!! First comes human rights then phones.....
