All these are 5 meg.

The Nokia N97 is great touch phone except for the camera, its sucks, takes pictures worst than my old Nokia N82.

Symbian is dead !
In its August 2009 Mobile Metrics Report released today, advertising firm AdMob highlights the fact that Apple's iPhone OS commanded a 40% share of ad requests on the company's network during the month, up from 33% six months earlier. The increase, when paired with a corresponding decrease in market share for Symbian OS, has moved the iPhone OS into the #1 spot for worldwide ad request market share.

Hi to all. For ALL those of you out there in someway interested to the Nokia N97, here's my review and believe me, i'm not going to bluff or hide any mishaps, so here it is....
N97 is simply awesome. Have been using the N97 like a freak: wireless, downloads, new software & games installations, playing the games i downloaded, playing music, touchscreen functions, cameras...The battery kept on going for a good number of days so i'm very happy with its usage.
Even if it is 'still' a 5MP camera, it does the job perfectly, who needs to print pics larger than A4??
I think the mobile works at average speed, ie it isn't slow as some are saying and obviously it cant be fast like a pc, its a mobile after all!!!
The only instances where i had some problems (but nothing permanent) was when i had a number of apps running and it gave me out of memory when i received an SMS, had to close all of them, problem still persisted and then i had to turn it off and on again. And when i tried to save a video over 1 minute, but maybe i didn't give it enough time to process it, i have to try that again.
Final thing is that i like it and will keep it until it goes. btw great toughscreen comodity! :)

Don't buy this!! GO for Apple 3GS or Sony. It's slow and a big waste of money!

It's only a mediocre phone trying to market in the field of high end phones, and you're paying extra for that. The hardware is a joke. Even the camera is behind. Samsung and Sony Erickson are at 8MP already and going to release 12MP soon. N97 is still at 5MP. Don't waste your money on this phone!!

n97 packed with many and decent features
the speed is not too bad after all! Don't play 3d game, it is perfect phone just wait fr the price to go down to the euro350

it is very bad mob .i am very sorry to buy it.it went hanging several times.its battery has low time life.i charge it daily.one of its phone speaker stopped working after 3 days from buying.its softwear also go bad.it is full of troubles.really i hate it toooooo much

I work with an undisclosed phone shop. I've been recommending the N97 to customers only for the sheer fact that I've not heard any bad comments. Nokia I believe haven't gone downhill, but are producing good service mobile phones. Nokia has always been a good phone producer. The camera is stable. I've had 2 Nokia n97 come thru for repairs, in the last 2 months. In comparison to the say, Ultra touch. The touch screen seems to loose its life within the Early Life Period. Remember, a mobile needs care and attention, cleaning, and looking after.

It has the potential to produce great phones but some unintelligent executive there thinks they can make more money on releasing disappointing phones. There are too many choices now and nokia will find it tough staying in business unless they revaluate their approach and start releasing phones with better spec, as so far this year they seemed to have taken steps back rather than forward. To conclude I returned all nokias I got this year due to hardware or software issues. I would like to talk to nokia design team about their phones. Does anyone have any contacts?

I bought a Nokia N97 and after two months I was so disappointed...and after I bought Iphone 3GS and N97 use with sim2.Rekomend for all not buy yet because it is not Nokia's flagship model, but the company's shame. N97 is big, big s.....
