i am very unimpressed with phone, i honestly do not understand what all the fuss is about. the colouring could be better and the widget doesnt even appear up onto the screen any more after 2 months!!! this phone is very unriliable.

I dont know what u mean by slow i have got the Omnia HD the N97 and the 3Gs and the speed while using them is pretty much thesame. Do u know that the previous Iphone 3G was just 412 Mhz and it was and still is pretty fast. Please explain what u mean by slow? Or are u guys talking about the China made N97.

But the phone should be fine cause my 5800 is at the same clockspeed

got the n97 and its a sweet looking phone BUT I think its slow unfortunately and that's not even taking the data connection in account. The phone itself I find is slow. Its not that I dont like the phone overall, its just that I expected more of it. Thinking about buying a new phone and expecting performance? look for something with a higher CPU speed > 434MhZ. I cant say the N900 will be the answer cuz it has a completely different OS that I know nothing about so I predict another trial and error story. I tested the i8910 and its nice and quite fast so I suggest that one as an alternative. Hope my comments help!
Got a problem with maps. I keep getting an error that i have no internet connection when I AM online? Is it maybe because I am not using the data connection as yet? Please confirm somenone. Thanks in advance!

Good design, good picture design, But not thumbable enough, and really really slow and Laggy.. Needs more RAM and processing power. Iphone 3GS is soo much faster and seamless. I hope N900 will not dissapoint me.

I have windows 7 on my laptop. On OVI the usb mode requests me the whole time to switch to PC Suite Mode, and then it doesnt sync. Even though it is on PC Sync mode... Any advice?

worst phone ever by nokia. better buy a nokia 5800 same software only difference is the slider.
trust me everyone i work for nokia care india this is just a waste of money.
people go for any other hanset or buy a sonyericsson thats much better than nokia feature wise and battery back up wise.
please dont buy this phone.
