Try it b4 buying it.If you looked hard enough you would have found a store that sells it and lets you try it b4 buying it. I did,even though it took some time.

phone is too big, the loudspeaker is really bad and the touchscreen is rubbish. If i had my time over i would not have got this phone.

To experience users...Why is V12 update is not available for Malaysian market. Tried to get it from Nokia Care but their feedback was V12 is meant for European market. They don't advice the update, it'll will corrupt the phone. Can somebody assist me with this? It seems like the bug is quite serious on V11..my N97 hangs few times already since I got it 2 weeks ago. Some guide pls

I've recently moved from my old n95 to the n97. While the user interface has increased a lot, and video quality is just outstanding, I've come to realize i can no longer send messagges without looking at the keybord with only one hand. I realize not many people can do this, but this greatly increases the ammount of attention you need to give to your cell, even when you simply reply "ok". If you are driving, this is something to take into account. I guess this is a limitation that all touch screen phones have...

eric, 01 Sep 2009i do have the same problem. my n97 can't read amd write chi... moreMy iPhone only has 4 Chinese keyboards, traditional and simplified with keyboard and handwriting, but the iPhone is far more versatile than the N97 as a smartphone.
Maybe the Nokia site has something for the N97 after all it's made in China look for language packs.

I want the best phone for Skype,... moreWell I dont know what country your from but is it's the UK or Ireland then I'd suggest getting it on 3, as the skype application is preinstalled and Skype to skype calls are totally free and don't use any data allowance

well guys dis phone has got a lovely big screen.....de experience of watching porn videos on dis site is truly amazing....32 gb gives enough space 4 diff types of pornography as well.....thums up nokia....

how can ya download skype on n97, on www.skype.com/m u can download skype but dere in no option for n 97...

I have it from 6 hours now... still trying to copy the contacts from my old SE. The new OVI Suite is a total mess. It's huge, stupid, completly useless and you cannot even copy vcards anymore. (Previous Nokia Data Suite programs allow this). I really don't understand why creating a new software suite that doesn't offer at least the functionality of the old one... The only solution to import my contacts seems to be to send each by each (876 contacts) via bluetooth, or to mess up my PC adress book by syncronize it with the phone. HEY NOKIA, I DON'T WANT TO SYNCRONIZE MY CONTACTS. I JUST WANT TO COPY THEM FROM ON FOLDER TO ANOTHER !!! IS THIS SO MUCH TO ASK ??? (stupid and non-functional... )

hi all
have the N97 and seems a great phone, but have a question. When I transfered the pictures from my old phone they went into 'downloads' on the N97, when I checked options it gave me the option to add to a folder (made a folder for family) after I added them there was still a copy of the picture in downloads, so I deleted this but it also deleated from the folder I added it to, is there a way to put the pictures either straight into a folder or move them and deleate the one in download

About to upgrade my phone. I want the best phone for Skype,skype calls. I am looking at either the 5800 or N97, which is the better one and is there any price difference using skype on any of these phones?
