mak, 31 Aug 2009can u tell me that is this phone is friendly to users???r u... morehi Mak, if u r interested in new touch screen technology just go for it, if u had read my comment i told, i m just buying N97, but i have used my friends N97 for 1 full day, i did not find any prb wht ppl just comment here, yeah u need some time to know this phone, just play around all day n u wil be used to it. you can,t understand new technology tht fast or always friendly at 1st side. we have to make over self use to hope u got me.

Finallly today is the dayyyyyy i got my
N-97, this cell is simply superb and amazing...... i love it !!!!!1]
but there are some issues with which i am upset with the people at nokia and this is serious
i am from INDIA and we get the models that are manufactured in china, the quality is sub-standard and the product looks cheap compared to the ones that are made in FINLAND and available elsewere
When i first got the preview of N-97 from the nokia people the handset were different, the stylus which they were using was also different
I would like to know why do they provide us with chinese made models wen the prices are the same if we buy from USA

Previously I've been using Nokia N96 and it was a good model in N series family...after that, I move to use another N series new family member, the Nokia N97 and I find out that this new member is the greatest smartphone I ever had. To browse the Internet, chatting, even updating my Facebook...this is the ultimate smartphone ever!

does any one know why? when my my phone rings it dont use my ringtone it uses the standed one? but when i receive a message it uses allocated ring tone.

... moreFring is also available which i think is the same thing as skype.Where i bought my phone he said he can install fring on my n97.

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2009No wonder they offer it for free... ...it doesn't work! ... moreOh, have you tried.Its actually in cell carriers best interest if you are using a data plan to make skype calls, unless you have the iphone which only works over wi fi for skype calls.Remember the link i gave you said that. Also if you want to wait for a skype call on the iphone,after a while it will shut off the wi fi connection to save battery power and your skype callers will get a rejected call message.Nice

to download skype for your n97 go to ur mobile browser and type www.skype.com/m hit enter and click download. u done

i have one problem i have used slide phone and i am scared of this one. Till date i cant find the flex of my current samsungf700,wats d garranty that the parts of N97 will be available when you need it?

Made in China has become standardised and N900 will definately be chinese made under authority of Nokia.
Its software themes and resolution plus features same as 5800 XM qtr its price. Why pay when within months its going to leveled. Shortcomming has been removed within 2 months N97 release increase in Ram doubled resolution doubled 800x480 in N900. Wait to buy at cheaper price the N900 by christmas.
