just bought N97 after 3 days of using it i experienced sudden shut down and hungs up. what can i do?:( also how can i check my yahoo messenger since its a mini computer? somebody help

Julian, 17 Aug 2009I had a n95, never had any problems with it. You can't say ... morei also work in a retail dealer store 4 years now allphones, vodafone, and hutch (3) AND I AGREE N95 was and still is the worst phone ever sorry buddy but i have recieved more repairs in nokia then any other model

AS IF other softwares dont work "day-in day-out" Yeah RIGHT. Apple has had it heyday in 08, this year it hardly brings anything new, not to mention the stuck-in-the-past specs that u dont wanna mention.
PS check voting results of design, features n performance of 3GS on this website and u would relise ppl arnt as happy as u may think. .

At the same time Nokia is a household name in billions of homes across the globe and one of the most powerful brands in the world. I believe Nokia would win back the share it lost last as apple hasnt shown any new innovations this year.

In comparison... moreI had a couple experiences like you are saying until i asked at the store i bought it from.The guy told me to put network mode to GSM and operator selection to Automatic. Cell info display is off. Since then its been fine.

Hi everyone i have a theory of what nokia might have planned for the s60 phones out now
Updates
-less ram comsumption every update
-clock speed boost
For the phones that have 369mhz will be boosted to 434mhz and the ones at 434 will be boosted to 600mhz since some nokia phones are running at 600mhz

The N97 has real issues with phone reception. In comparison to my Nokia classic 3110 the N97 is dysfunctional at best for phone calls and at worst inoperable as connections get dropped. As a phone the N97 makes a great tiny laptop....certainly virtually unusable as a phone.

Never get a N-series in first 3 months as they are more than likely faulty...already had x amount of N97 returns - one straight after transaction!!!
Nokia are not what they used to be, they are rushing too many phones on to market, they never accept responsibility for their faults and they try to get too clever with their designs (often making it more difficult than practical).
Typical problems? Faulty chargers & batteries, consistent N-series software problems, poor battery life compared to stated time (i.e. they over-exaggerate) and THEY NEVER ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY for their poor workmanship....

hi. Keep getting an icon saying "sim contacts full".
I deleted messages and some contacts and restarted the phone. The problem persists.
Any ideas wouldm be apprreciated.
