N97 will be wipped out by Dec 09. as its Chinese totality has demoralised genniune fans.
what screen resolution finish cheap look and internal mem 30mb pooreset since Nokia started making phones.
Ram or phone mem is main integrated but saving on high end cell is nonsense.
price should come down any moment as china has already launched N98 with nearest software and 8 MP for 200$. At least we can by 7 sets at cost of one under nokia supervision. I bet to opt for this option anyway

The N97 from china is not real. It is a copy and the features are some how different. Most dealers in China will tell you plain blank. That the product is N97 face. And some will tell you that it is a hard copy. With the hard copy, it is some difficult to tell the difference. Some have TV and with antana, skin is too shinning and they look fake, really fake. If you want to buy the N97 buy it from a reputable dealer. That way you will be able to the original...

Have a N97 for 3 weeks now
The CPU is slow, and the screen gets scratched easily when using the pointer device thingy. It doesnt come with a protective casing and I had to pay extra for this. The facebook application is a joke seriously, iam better off using the mobi site. Web pages take much longer to download than on my previous SE. My calls get disconnected sometimes during the call and at other times ppl get a user busy msg when calling me even tho iam on full signal and have no other connections active.
Typin messages takes some time to get used to, be it with the qwerty or the onscreen keypad. Still trying to get the compass to work.
Ive tried upgrading to the new software (version 21-am currebtly on ver 10 or 11 i think) Software upgrader says I already have the latest version and there is no new version available. When I called nokia they said my phone already has the new software version just with the older name! Yeah right!
I stuck with this phone for 2 years now, please remeber me in your prayers and thoughts!:)

You can't say its the ''worst phone ever'' just because you had problems with it. I work in a retail mobile phone store and its only a minority that come back with most nokias.

I must have a better car charger than that other guy because my iPhone charges while using Google maps, Tom Tom doesn't draw as much power as the maps are stored locally.
I wonder when the Tom Tom dock will be released, to boost the GPS with another GPS chip, connect to the car stereo and charge the phone all using the hardware api's which were opened with OS 3.0.
Tom Tom is only available in Australia and New Zealand so far.

He drives an Suv BMW with nav,so your point wouldn't be an issue for him.
He is the same guy who took his iphone3g out of his pocket to find a 1 inch crack in the screen. Screen was replaced.

The best reason that N97 beats all other phones is stated in this comments part!!!!!
take a look on the stated opinions!!! about %50 of opinions are about the excellency of iphone 3gs, Omnia HD,.....
Dude!!someone tell me if there is N97 opinions column here or other phones?!!! and then take a look at other phones opinion sections and account the N97 fans opinions!!!
I don't know why these anti N97 guys are interested to prove themselves in N97 section?!!!Maybe because no one take care of theme!!!!
