I got this for a while now. No major problems yet. Really cool phone to use. Looks better in real life than the pictures. Quickoffice works really good on it. The hand writing recognition is good. Really good phone in my opinion.

All NOKIA phones do match with their spec sheet in terms of battery life not the same case with SAMSUNG.
I totally hate the quality and durability of SAMSUNG.
I had the battery issue with INNOV8 16GB.

I rather wait for nokia to offer me capacitive phone.
i know resistive screen is not too bad, capacitive screen is just my preference, i prefer glass over plastic material. prefer touch over press.

ive had my phone for about a month now and loving it
and thought ive worked out all the bugs ive fixed
BUT....
does anyone have the problem with an alarm clock?
when i set it to a certain time, it doesnt go off at that time, it ALWAYS goes off 3mins after or even 6min?
im trying to figure out why it keeps doing it.
important to me coz i have deadlines i need to realise

After reset the phone. It on with white screen & blue nokia logo & stay there. Try to remove battery but the same. Anyone know what to do?

Now, the nokia has updated the quickoffice, ihave installed the new version of quickoffice, and it can view and edit now, its really perfect.
Even now, m still looking at the other brand of celphone, still cannot find any high performance phone, still n97 still the best. But since the nokia develop their new phone very fast, i bet they are innovating again the new n97 to more better and more high tech phone - sooner next will n99

WOW iam amazed this phone seems wayyy betta dan the retarded iphone..atleast it got a qwerty pad and a proper blue tooth so if the secreen ever freezes u can use the keypad..i wonder how much it is in australia ??!! oh does it play flash vid coz it looks like it does !! umm i wonder which one is betta this one is better than the parada 2

ignore all the bad comment from those who feel jealous with us,the N97 users.Its was seriously a great phone,everything was great,love at the 1st sight while using the phone,to anyone who still hesitate to buy this phone,dont feel it anymore,just grab it,u wont regret.

good pm. when i tried to sign up on yahoo mail using the phone a message showed that javascript should be enable. i check the web settings of the phone but java is already enabled. i disabled and enabled it again and reboot the phone just to refresh it but the same problem occurred. how can i resolve this problem?

Basically, china manufacture Nokia phone for Nokia company. But there are some loose end that the model imprints were run into the 'black market'. Therefore, my best advice is play with an original N97 first. Either from a friend or an authorised Nokia shop before you buy one from a local shop.
Had an experience that I bought N96 while on a business trip at China. Buy it at a cheap price, but ended up its a fake!! Outlook, slide, and weight and everything looks 100% original. But when comes to the software, its just a very basic phone software. Icon and shortcut doesn't match what you see on the phone. Came back homeland and compare with an original N96 from Nokia Centre, then to know that I got cheated. Now, that fake N96 is still lying at one corner of my office desk as a paper weight. So, be caution for those who buy Nokia phone from China.
My best advice is to get real familiar with the phone before you get one from China. At least you know what you are getting.

I think this is quite a gud phone, but time wil tell, we all know the problems with the N series phones. Only time will tell
