Also i prefer n97 design better with its hardware qwerty.Though not as wide as n97,omnia hd is longer,therefore a little harder to fit in your pocket.
Even though n97 does have hd video,n97 video recording is awesome on n97.
So yes omnia hd specs are better but that doesnt seem to matter with omniahd camera and the other things come into play as well.
Omnia does have 7.2 and a stronger processor but that will drain the battery quicker.

Brightmon, 11 Aug 2009can someone PLS tell me were/how to check for the firmware ... moreyou can check the firmware by taping (*#0000#). you can update the firmware by using Ovi suite or Nokia software updater

Bought it in Black, looks better in white. Not worth the money i paid. HUGE price tag! Still a very very nice phone, the best phone till now. If you are planning to buy it, wait till the price goes down. Excellent Screen, Camera, keyboard everything! just one drawback, Expensive!

Can anyone help me out i got the n97 today and i am trying to download "maps 3.1" and "N-Gage appliction 1.30" but every time i try i get the message "Not enough memory for update. Delete some data and try again." since i got the phone it is the only thing i have done so the phone memory "mass storage" is pretty much completely empty any help would be great ty.
I would have updated by usb but my computer sees the phone yet the nokia software does not -.- sigh

Obviously some people don't know anything about phones, if they seriously think the nokia N97 beats the Samsung Omnia HD I8910, the only thing that is a win for the N97 in my eyes is the 32gb storage, comparing the rest of the N97 specs to the Omnia HD's, =Fail for the N97!!

Also, it seems to me that everyone has an iPhone(or a BlackBerry) - a big turn off for me. I'd rather buy SE or Nokia as a first preference and Samsung/Lg as a second one.

438MHz processor beats 600MHz!
5MP beats 8MP!
Resistive touch beats Capacitive!
VGA beats HD!
And I dunno how many N97 'goodies' beats i8910!

Also the 3gs does have an undeniable overheating problem and still no flash for the camera or browser. 3gs also doesnt have a strong enough battery.Apple is falling behind in their screen resolution.

Great phone really great feel typing and the hands free is great for music .No crashes as reported and all widgets work fine
