thai, 09 Aug 2009how do i update the n97 firmware to v11 ?make sure your phone is charged, back up all your stuff, plug in your USB cable to your phone, go to Settings, Connectivity, Connection Manager, choose PC Suite. On a computer go to Nokia.com, download the 22MB Nokia Software Updater, open it up and follow the prompts & instructions to get the latest V11 firmware.

hamid, 10 Aug 2009hey guys, do you have any issues with the slider. My friend... moreI've had mine for a couple of months now and I don't even notice that, seems fine to me. I think the slide mechanism is quite sturdy and mine doesn't rub, it lifts straight away.

Listen people, as well as the phones that say "Made in Finland", "Made in China", there's also one that says "Made by Nokia" which I have, I believe this is also made in China, I bought this in Singapore Airport. Don't worry they are all good phones made under Nokia license. The only differences may be the frequencies. Mine is unlocked and I have no problem using it in the Philippines, Singapore & New Zealand.
I'm curious to know if all your N97's say type RM-505 and model N97-1.

He was probably asking for shipping purposes, related to cost of shipping.

hey guys, do you have any issues with the slider. My friend just bought it today and i had chance to try it.
the only horrible thing i found is when you opening the slider the upper(display side) rubs with the lower main frame(just at beginning of its travel) and makes me feel like two metals are filing each other
Do you have the same issue?
would it be worse overtime?

read the "specification" its not hard to just click
rather than ask stupid questions when you can find everything right in front of you

I also took my first pictures in very low light and complete darkness,both were very impressive considering the n97 has no xenon flash.

I had the N97 for less than a month.. after a few shots with the camera, it turns all dark and cannot focus..why...why ..why
when i brought to Nokia Care shop, i was amazed so many people with their N97 and their problems, c'mon Nokia..couldnt you just produce a better quality product..
