Hey Guys
I currently have a SEk810i, all my contacts are saved on the M2 memory card, how do I go about transferring these contacts to the N97 now?
Also I read about he firware upgrades to improve some of the glitches noted in the preliminary version, is the best way to upgrade by using the Tools menu on the phone?

this phone is very flexible and able to upgrade to numerous applications, that I think you will find it useful...because it's operate under Symbian OS S60v5.
just do a search(google it) for the symbian OS S60v5..you will not be disappointed.

have/had this phone for over a month now...had done the upgrade to it OS. IMO, better phone than my iPhone, and Samsung Memoir. have had some S60 v5 third party softwares(ex: Google Map, Garmin Mobile XT, Shazam, and LCG Jukebox) install into this device and operate great. Battery life is much much better than the iPhone 3gs(I and my buddy had), and the Samsung Memoir.
overall, great phone with lots, and lots of third parties software for you to upgrade to..and don't forget if you like/love to play games, there are great selections for it too.

I have owed this phone for 3 weeks now! I'm making this comment to point out some straight facts about the N97 & to avoid some of the misleading comments of other people who hates the N97 w/out even having tried it for themselves.
1st...The Phone is NOT SLOW as stated by a lot of people. The real issue is weather the phone delivers a satisfactory level of speed when using it! The answer is a BIG YES! It does not mean that if it has a mid-ranged CPU then it will be slow! Many things are to be considered especially the configurations that Nokia made to make it work w/ the s60 5th. it has even a faster CPU than the N95 w/c has already earned it's reputation.
2nd...The keyboard issue is just all about getting used to it! I bet most of the people who have tried typing in the N97 & complained about it has never even tried to type from a mobile phone keyboeard before w/c is ofcourse small compared to normal keyboards. I was typing fast w/ this phone actually in a just a day of using it.
3rd...The phones biggest downfall i think is the firmware! Almost all of the complains about the phone is about its usability & stability! But all of these problems can be SURELY fixed in the next firmwares to come so DONT WORRRY!
4th...The Resistive Screen sensitivity is i would say very responsive! sometimes its as sensitive as the capacitive screen of the iphone! considering its a resistive screen that needa a little pressure for it to register as a touch or swipe is very good! I dont any other resistive screen phones make it more better than what they have done in the n97!
5th...When it comes to design! well its very obvious that it's a looker! everytime i use my phone in public, people can't help it but to stare at my phone! haha! its a good feeling when you own the phone!
6th...Lastly! overall the phone is great & we could expect things to be better w/ the continious growth of the OVI store & better versions of Firmware to come! then we can say that the N97 is worth the money! You will never be bored w. the phone & it almost have everything that you need! in fact i have not been using my laptop now for 2 weeeks since i got this phone!
I hope this will help others decide! I'm a happy user of the phone! DONE!

so many fake reviews here, dissapoint this dissapoint that, hell no this phone is really great all fake reviews here only coz they're jealous how this phone could work in almost all activities, great email, fast lock GPS, produce great pictures, nice design & look really elegant, support N-Gage if you're a games freak, good sensitive touch, you can have both touch screen & qwerty keyboard, support lots of 3rd party apps & games, fast internet browsing wether u use wifi, 3G or even gprs, great quality sound that u don't need u'r Ipod anymore
ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS PHONE IS ALL YOU NEED IN YOUR HAND

I'm a fanatic fan of Nokia. Sad to say but somehow..from last year until quarter 3 of this year, Nokia failed to compete in the bandwagon of touch screen. In this track, Samsung and LG both done a very well job. You can choose the latest touch screen of Nokia in the available market, N97. But still lose to Samsung; the way they customized the Symbian 06 powered with 800 MHz processor. Also, LG bring out the S-Class UI with it's pride held by LG GD900 Crystal. Hope Nokia still have an idea to regain back the role of player as a market leader in phone world..peace..

i'am using 5800xm almost a year. then when N97 arrive in my place, I trade my xpress music for dis fone. using dis fone for 2 weeks, and I regret. I want my 5800 back!
5800 much more faster then dis fone, much better audio quality and much more responsive UI.
