Nokia N97 have less memory in phone. mass memory have 32 GB but phone memory only 73 mb. thats why phone hensing many times. simply remove applications on phone & all collect from OVI store & install all on mass memory. you will find 20 mb more space, hangging problem will be some what solve.

King of the market, 21 Jul 2009The only Nokia beating in these days is the daily beating ... moreYes the market is King and also reported N97/5800/6300 top selling phones, along with the iphone. Nokia shares may have fallen but r bound to recover as new high-end phones come out of Nokia every few months wheras they do so with apple anually.

I also have tried the n97 and found it only needs a slight tap,no extreme pressure at all.Very responsive.

Hi there I must say I have egg on face, being a die hard n-series fan I was very much anti-iPhone however recently getting excitted about n97 I was very much dissapointed, a software update that I didn't get, constant freezing and having to reboot, and a touch screen that feels like it's going to crack with the ammount of pressure needed for it to respond, anyway I gave up and thought if u can't beat them join them so I purchased a 3hs and how pleasntly surprised I am! No unlike the n series it may not have advanced features like the n97 but at least the features it does have actually work, you may not be able to bluetooth images to the moon but with super fast speeds you can upload them just about anywhere therefore making Bluetooth sharing irrelevant also everyone keeps going on about the poor upgrade of camera well apart from pics in very dark places they are exceptionally good with the iPhones high screen resolutions the pics are actually better than that of the n97 in my opinion anyways rant over just thought I'd share

of the Nokia stock that keeps on falling every day while the Apple stock is up every day, the market is king and knows who is best all other considerations simply crap from desperate fanboys.

with all respect to all the positive reviews I read about the N97, please allow me to share some of the worst experiences i've ever had.

I was dreaming to get my hands on the phone since the day it was published on Nokia website, and i was extremely shocked by the performance of the phone.
I switched 3 N97 handsets in one week and after suffering from the delay and the continuous hanging of the phone I returned it to Nokia for good.

If you're always on the move like me and want to connect your laptop to the internet by using this phone as a bluetooth modem you're in big trouble; it will connect you for a MAX period of 5 minutes than it will suddenly be disconnected.

Then if you to cut the crap and try the built in browser to surf the website you wanted to see on your laptop, the built in browser hangs then closes.

if you try to play around in the phone's menu to explore the so they call new features; BOOM the phone restarts.....and so many other issues that makes this phone the worst phone ever been created by Nokia.

One last thing that made me confident 100% that this phone is a total mess, is that Nokia delayed it's release in the Market for over a year, which confirm that they had lots of troubles when it was tested in their labs.

I'm very sorry to say that this is not a good nokia phone;-)

                            What a pity.

I got this phone after the rave reviews. The applications and touch-screen were great. But 2 weeks in, I had to send it to the service centre. There was bad battery drain problem (it'll go empty within 24 hours with low usage), the phone would heat up on its on and back-light problem.

The shop returned it back after 2 days citing that it was due to a software problem. I had checked the version some days ago and nokia.com said that it was up to date.

When I was at the service centre, 5 other persons were there with N97 problems as well. I'm wondering if we were all duped into getting this phone.

Pretty disappointed in the N97, I think it is just a slight better than the 5800. The keyboard keys are really recessed and isn't the best to type on. The greatest flaw of all is that camera lens cover, it scratched up my lens, now when I take pictures with flash, the picture is blurred. What a joke Nokia!

This phone kills by it's looks and deadly features. One of the best nokia phones ever. A really headturner model. I'm planning to get one but it's quite expensive. The problems for me on this phone is it's price, bulky size and the weight.
