N97 supports 3.5g network
on At&t
but the 3g and 3.5g network
the iphone can support up to 3.5g network which goes up to 7.2mbps NOW
the n97 already has that chip and can go up to 7.2mbps
and IT IS DECIDED ON THE SERVICE PROVIDER HOW FAST NET SPEED IS
att's 3g network is only 1.2mbps
rogers wireless is 3.5g is 7.2mbps
so what are you trying to tell me

I have this phone for almost a month now. And i insert a micro sd card and a sim card into it. Dont know why, the songs and the contact names displays twice on the screen. For example, like david, david, john,john, and so on to the rest of the names. This is sucks when i listen to music cuz i dont want to listen to the same song twice. Anyone having problems like me, need help, thank for ur time

This phone is still not out in the orange shop and iv been due for an upgrade for ages now same as sum1 else that has commented on this site,when i ring orange they just say they dont no when the fone will be released but it is out on orange in other shops??? does any1 no wen it will b in the orange shop? thanks

Iphone 3gS cortex8 - 600mhz
256mb ram
Technically it's not 2 times faster cause if it was it would 800mhz plus cause 400 times 2 is 800 not 600

upgraded my firmware to fix the unlocked/ baxcklight problem... i hink the n97 is great batt life lasts me the day till i go bed and recharge so doesnt bother me...
phone is fast enough..
dont know what every1 is moaning about.. prob havent even got a n97...

I went to buy N97 on June 15 but I couldn't find any of it in the market. I thought its really fantastic because it was out of stock in whole Lucknow. But now when I have read your guys comment, I am confound and I am thinking whether its good or not. I would be really thankful to anyone who would suggest whether to buy it or not with genuine reasons.

Had phone 4 days. Not sure how it got through Nokia QA. firmware 10.0.0.12
Bug list so far:
Text messages/calls display number not contact name.
(apparently phone is confused if a contact has 2 numbers)
Not compatable with BMW phone kit SIM profile (address book xfer)
Home screen widgets freeze
Backlight stays off when phone unlocked

Full onscreen virtual qwrty on n97(3.5") is useful!
It is better than full on screen qwerty in 5800(3.2")

Why release a phone with so much potential only to disappoint us? The old iphone processor was faster than this brand new Nokia. It doesn't even list graphics???
