I just bought this phone 3 days ago,
all what i ... more-Buggy phone, considering the amount of time before it was released.
-slow cpu.
-Videos and photos takes too long to open.
-lack of smart dialing.
-not capacitive touchscreen.
-nothing great in its camera.
-The rear panel had a problem sitting back into the grooves.
-Closing the keyboard has an annoying loud sound.
-dont have that elegant look, not a head turner like other phones specially iphone.
-The History for contacts option is not available.
-Lack of a Visual Radio application.
-No relevant codecs like DivX and XviD for video playback.
-It all supports AV out but no cables have been included.
-The games are not impressive.
-Its business features are limited to a limited edition of QuickOffice wherein you can’t create documents of your own.
NOTHING SPECTACULAR BUT THE MEMORY. N97 IS JUST A PRETTY GOOD 5800 UPGRADE, BUT NOT AS GOOD AND LIKE THOSE OTHER IPHONE COMPETITORS, NOT LIKE THAT.

Now do you want to explain how you managed to port this to the N97, bearing in mind it's not using S60v3 doesn't have enough RAM and doesn't have a graphics processor like the N95 8GB, N82 and E90.
Maybe you can point out which version you are using.

Waiting for successor to n97:))))
am now happy with my toy iPod touch and basic phone!
N98 should have faster processor and bigger ram and gpu
because nokia has no choice to put lousy CPU and ram in it's flagship
n98 my next upgrade from basic phone:)
n98 is loaded with symbian foaubdation os and xenon

The 600MHz ARM 8 processor, 256MB RAM and PowerVR SVX graphics really are an improvement on the iPhone 3G..
...I pity poor suckers stuck with old sub 500MHz processors and 128MB of RAM, they don't know what they are missing without some real processing power.

i got the N97 2 day ago, battery seem not lasting even on normal usage only on for 5hrs, the battery signal bar already left 3bar and the phone seem to be easily heat up on the lower part of the phone, can anyone N97 owner advise if their phone hav the same problem as mine.

ApplE is qiute good at marketing iPhone in singapore
everyone compare ipho e with every touch phones
big iPhone wallpaper is pasted on the wall since the iPhone 3g was launched in Singtel shop
the singtel staff wear shirt with iPhones 3gs new features
but, I just hate popularity without substance! Hatethe iPhone form factor!
