i bought this phone on the very 1st day of its lauch in India i.e. on 23th June.I am totally dissapointed with its performance.From the very next day it started hanging quite often and at that point of time u cant switch off it,u have to open the back cover open the battery and then only it restarts.In my opinion N96,N95 8GB is much much better phone than this one.

N97 announced NOV '08, released JUNE '09.
iphone 3GS announced JUNE '09, released JUNE '09.

A few number of Symbian good developers lost to iPhone!!

games developer( no gpu in 5800 and n97) why nokia? You want iPhone win all the game phon market?
Nokia next flagship should have new technology!!!!new ui multitouch
Or they will be beaten hard by iPhone

anybody know when the firmware update will come to a 3 uk handset and what happened to the drag to unlock feature i cant find it on my handset or anyway of downloading it.....if anybody knows the answers please let me know this site has gone down hill recently by people who only want to compare every phone to the iphone so hopefully somebody who isnt slagging something off can help me cheers...........

Can n97 be upgraded to symbian foundation v2? Which should be released very soon!
I hear that it has user customized ui and fancy screen transition effect and much more
can't wait to see it come up!!:)

well my n97 works fine did have a prob with battery had no software bugs n nokias ovi store aint bad but needs more n iphone is just a fashion phone

Who said iPhone is cheaper thN n97?
Apple product is always over priced!
I love n97 but too expensive for what it can offer!
It should be priced at singappore dollar 800!
So I should wait two kore years :(((((
n97update should give usmore options like turn off the flash in web and turn on the mini qwerty and full qwerty and much more fancy screen transition effect ! Don't nokia think screen transition effect can boost their sales???????????
