Husain, 05 Jul 2009Guys, i know i was not nice to allan,but what you are sayin... moreI appreciate your comment regarding flaws on N97 it's true. i tested also myself and found that the touch and the speed is not great particularly. and 3rows keyboard add up to it. having said that though, I don't have any inclination towards ip 3g. My objections towards it way longer... tha prica, the camera, video, tha same shape design... all sucks! don't ever imagine about keyboard.. not even 3rows you will ever get from apple. I'm waiting for next Nokia flagship phone instead. the possibilty of it can catch up with apple touch & speed is aroud the corner, compare to if you must wait for apple to catch up with nokia strong side. it would take ages.. maybe on 2011 apple will release 5mp camera while the other aggresive developer like samsung will have 12mp on their medium class phone.
Regarding that guy who put insult on wife his ip should be banned. I'm surprise that gsm arena doesn't even delete his posts.

Nokia has released a new firmware for the Nokia N97 Version :v11.0.021 UPDATE : Varun got v.11 on his N97 White . The update was around 3.7 MB and took about 5 mins to install on the phone. Here is the screenshot below for the proof. The firmware has been around since 15th June but Official release happenned only 15 days later - today

Less than a month has passed since the Nokia N97 hit the shelves and here comes its first official firmware update. Bringing a whole load of bugfixes this new firmware should have a pretty positive impact on user experience.
The new version of the N97 firmware is already available in several countries with worldwide availability coming in the following days. So if you are a proud owner of a shiny N97 you might check out if it's already available for you.
According to Nokia, the most significant fixes that the new firmware brings are in the software stability, especially email, imaging, USB detection, widget stability and display transitions. We also noticed that the Ovi client is automatically installed to encourage users to use Nokia's side project.
You can get the new firmware as a FOTA update or you can rely on the good old Nokia Software updater and download and apply it through USB connection.

Go look at Samsung Omnia HD much better than this new version over priced 5800. also Omnia Pro and Omnia 2 coming within next 30 to 60 Days. I was buying Nokia for over 15 years now stop buying cheap made phones.

Mar, 04 Jul 2009Idou is better everyone is just in denial...have you used idou yet, i think not you shouldn't comment on something thats not even out yet, besides everyone that is familiar with cameras knows 5mp can take clearer pics than a 12mp only difference is the size, its your sensors you should be concerned about

Unlike other phone, nokia phone n97 has good form factor! And good design
But nokia still needs to improve on the touch technology!
Multitouch is the issue, smoth flick scroll and nokia are still immature in touch phone
nokia keep on moving!
