Anonymous, 27 Jun 2009haha you are an iphone hater and a stand-up comedian!LOL
i... moreWe need a keyboard for lack of finger dexterity.
I guess that goes for laptops as well. or xperia or htc touch pro 2.

Old people shouldn't have phones. Who are they going to call? Anyway, they would most likely die soon.

i... moreYou can change the font size and the volume thing is loud enough for anyone or lower it.
So i guess what you are saying is nokia is good for anyone, OLD or YOUNG.

i... moreit's good to see you admitting a fault of the iphone 3g, which is low volume, even though there are other faults as well.
You can admit those to me in your next post.
It's nice working in a body shop that has lots of noise and still be able to hear my n95 music player or vacuum a car and be able to hear it still. Obviously i wouldn't use headphones so i can hear if i'm being paged.
We know that would never work with the iphone3g as you have admitted!

iphone is for all ages! thats how good it is!
disabled person, and senior citizens uses nokias! who get used to prehistoric phones and dont have the mental and physical ability to change phones and get used to it anymore. they needed keyboard buttons and a big font because of poor eyesight and lack of finger control abilities. They need a very loudspeaker because they cant hear that much!LOL
i guess you are one of them, dont worry iphone users will also use nokias when they get old!LOL

just a quick comment on the n97 after using it for a day on vodafone version 10 firmware
phone hasnt crashed once , i have used all of 48gb memory apart from 2.9 gb , the phone is still quite quick , it has a bit of lag when opening the music player but there is 23 dyas of music in there
video playback seems to stutter a bit iam wandering if i have to defrag the mass memory like i did the n96 when i got it the stutter can be quite annoying
only had 40mb of rom at boot on the c drive , really need a way to hard reset this phone , 5800 methods dont work , wander if i can get it higher then 40mb or rom on the c drive
ram is quite low as well around 40mb at boot , multi tasking still works ok , sat nav , mp3 while sending a txt etc etc
slider is nice on mine and the device actually feels like a high end device no creaks or rattles which is a change from nokia
touch screen could be more responsive
for the 1st v10 firmware it is pretty dam good espeacially as the one i used was voda branded
id recomend you go try one in the shops first
48gb of memory in my handset is brilliant throw that in with the great sat nav (garmin) 5mp camera , good music player with a2dp support , nice email support , radio and loads of symbian apps too choose from and iam well happy with it
yeah it could have been better and is a bit exspensive but everyone knew what it was going to be ages ago
its turnt out just as nokia said it would
quite suprised how well it works even on v10
heard v11 is coming within the next 2 weeks too which will improove stabillity just like it did on the n96
by the time this handset gets to a v20 it will be an absoloute killer
the samsung omnia hd soes have much better spec but does it have the support that nokia offer with firmware updates etc
i was sooo tempted by the omnia hd but the orange branding ruined it for me
if you are a spec hunter and dont mind debranding/hcking etc then go for the omnia hd with its awesome spec it has great potential but will developers support it like they do the nokia and iphone , yeah its 5th edition but not all apps work on it as it as some where coded for nokia only
if you want a device that works well and will get more features and stabillity via support then go with the n97
iam happy with it
