M1DAS, 12 Jun 2009i just want to clarify a quick point to those saying the n9... moreThanks for the spark lol but as well as everyone was stating that the n97 is slow i also brought up a good point that if the iphone 3g and n97 use the same cpu the ARM 11 and both use 128mb of ram how and how the symbian is optimized for mobile use only how would it be slow at all lol the n97 is techically faster then the iphone which they were competing against and then the 3gS popped out of no were with little spec improvements

Average with no good feature but the battery is damn good i can surf thd web for more time than i used to do in n95 . I advise you not to buy this phone better go for S E idou B¤J

hello everybody... i bought this phone today, it cost 1400 USD in my country... very expensive, isnt it? ... well the phone is awesome! ITS NOT SLOW! its fast, the perfect phone

i just want to clarify a quick point to those saying the n97 is slow only because it has a ARM11 434MHz cpu and 128mb ram. have you not thought that maybe it uses a lot less ram than it actually has therefore would still function really quick? Mizuchi made a point saying that they will probably release an update for it over FOTA (Firmware Over The Air). i remember one of the first n95 firmware updates i ever done reduces ram usage and sped my phone up.
ANYWAY with that said I'll be going in to the Nokia retail store on Regent Street (London) tomorrow and testing it out myself. then im gonna buy it when its officially on sale in the uk on the 19th!

Have u send any of ur phone for repair? What if inside ur phone had a classified data? That's why we need the memory card slot. Just take it out and keep in ur wallet. As simple as that. Are you sure the iphone is made for business purposes? Sure enough? I think u still didn't answer how to change the battery yet because at least i have a spare in case i didn't bring along the charger on site visiting. How did u do a video conference using iphone? Dude... The other thing u need to know is... I like it i used it. I don't like it, i give it to others. For certain level in my company, they give us a handphone allowance. Just buy what even phone we want. Why can't i give it to my staff for free? It is because of the price? Or it's the most sophisticated phone on earth? I have using hp ipaq, xda, palm, nokia, sony ericsson, motorola and plus iphone. If u are talking about the touch technology, i already used it since 2001. Some of them a broken and some of them i just give it to other because i want to buy a new one.

Have sam... moreI really don't know what other features people are looking for in a phone the n97 is feature packed you can careless about the 5mp camera cause you have the 95 but all that social connectivity at your finger tips and touch at the same time this is a beast and plus the growing ovistore and the developers taking their time to make detestating apps.widgets.games and themes these people that actually use nokia's devices would only know what's to really come in the near future

And i thought Nokia were a top company....
Shame as they were for years but if this is all they can muster as their flagship phone then they're on a slow downward spiral. This is out of date spec-wise 6 months before it's release!!!!
Looks like the middle eastern manufacturers are showing everybody what to make before they think of it!
P.s. i am not an iPhone fanboi!!! They're even worse!!!

the n-series has a lot more to offer. again, nokia prefers the n-series to be unlock to have unlimited features. IT IS UP TO NOKIA TO HAVE ATT LAUNCH ANY N-SERIES. IT WILL BE GREAT A IDEA THOUGH for sales. att released one nokia e series....the e71x.
the feature is different (att feature) from the original e71. the e71x is locked and limited. therefore it is much cheaper. that is the first nokia smartphone to be release through att. i have thought of nokia and att, but i never thought it would happen. i bet you an n-series will probably be launch by att.
an unlock iphone will cost about the same as an n-series. an n-series is more worth than any unlock iphone.
again most of att smartphones suck. if i am to buy a smartphone through att, it will be the e71x because it has more features than the iphone.
my n95 and 5800 are awesome.
