in my opinion it is very very similar to 5800 ( do a comparison ) i have owned a 5800 and returned it after one week with that said my previous phones were n95,n96, n85, n78, all new phones coming out have EXTREMELY cheap build quality, made in china 4 the u.s, if you are very particular about your phones and must have a nokia i highly recommend the E series

All I say is look at the sales. In the end it does'nt mean sweet blue bugger-all what anyone says on sone anonymous online forum/comment area. In the end only one thing speaks true and that is the sales figures. So do yourself and us all a favour and find something new to fill your day.

It's a simple question, and the answers should be simple too if the n97 really had something to show! This brick will use the same implementation of the symbian software as in the nokia 5800 xpress music (another waste of time!) I invite you all to read the review that the guys here at GSM Arena made on the 5800, and see how bad Nokia implemented the touch UI for symbian! It's a mess! And when I'm thinking that the same garbage will be used in the n97..oh man:)) The symbian s60 is great, but Nokia ruins it!

Mike, this is true, Im not a fan of the 3 row QWERTY keyboard and it does look horrendous. Also, the date in which it's going to be released some ages away...TBH, no match for my phone the HTC TP2

Hi i am curious about the N97 for a specific reason. my question is that is the n 97 sold in qatar come from finland or china? due to the fact that nokia only comes from china thank you.

Resistive is not bad but it is hard to use sometime!
Can nokia use flick scroll for menu and list? Or give us some options to choose which one we like to use in n97?
