If you are within 30 feet which is the bt range and nothing major in between like around the corner of a building there is no sound deteriorating rapidly. You have direct line of site where your phone is.
What happens if you are around the corner of a building or inside around a wall from your phone it cuts out. Obviously a differance between cutting out and sound quality. Music returns with direct line of sight of phone. Walking with the phone in my pants pocket and stereo headphones no problem at all. I did this with a samsung phone. However, there is a glitch once during music(a cut out) for a few seconds on my n95 regardless of where the phone is on me. This glitch never happens with samsung when the phone is with you. Wired headsets are better, my motorola ht 820 you can also plug in.

Allan, 23 May 2009Most iphone users say they don't need what iphone doesn't h... moreActually I said I'm on my 3rd A2DP headset, I've used them before and unless you are fairly still with nothing between the receiver in the headset and the phone it works ok, as soon as you put your phone in your pocket and start moving around you'll find the quality deteriorates rapidly, the same goes for moving away from the phone it must have something to do with the greater bandwidth required for stereo music vs a voice call.
I have experienced this with Nokia, Motorola and SonyEricsson phones.
The best way to get a good sound is to put your phone in a shirt pocket on the same side of your body as the receiving side of the headset, wired headsets produce a much better sound.

For a mobile device, this will be fantastic, 2 qwertys touch and hardware, amazing picture viewing experience.
Great music player (with volume of course) and good quality. I've heard it on you tube.
