I've used N97 for 4 years already and it's still working fast, because I reset it from time to time.
And yes, whatsapp,viber,skype work on it without any problems

Try to flash your n97 with cfw ported from C6, and install effects to C/resource/effects. You will see your n97 is like a superrrbbb phone

But what you do is that you install all apps on the Mass storage.
and as for Whatsapp and Facebook which requires to be installed on phone memory, get modded versions where you can find them till this day.
I have N97 and by applying this strategy I'm facing no problems at all!

this phone is pretty cool.... but...
I have heard about nokia n97 that it is having memory problems.. like u can't install whatsapp, facebook, skype all together. otherwise it will show full memory. is this true?
