A Nokia employee has comfirmed the following: "N97 comes with HSDPA (download) 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA (upload) 2.0 Mbit/s"
Omnia HD only has 7 Mbps HSDPA...

Anonymous, 15 May 2009Yeah the i96 was a flop, piece of crap.That was just a test for the moderators, they have no rhyme or reason. I believe the n96 is o.k, but the battery should have been better than the n95.

Another review has been writing! The phone is not any faster than the Nokia 5800 and is actually slower in some applications although it has a bit faster processor and more free RAM after the fresh start!
With a faster/more powerful CPU,more RAM as well as optimized software this smartphone would have been a significantly better device. I sincerely don't understand why Nokia can't sometime do the extra steps which would make of a good product, a great product. This problem as well as their obsession of saturating the market with variations of the same products will be their downfall.
It's not possible to make miracles just with software optimizations and that Nokia N97 will not be as fast as it should be unfortunately.

this phone got a great camera although it is just 5MP :D
this phone and N82 is a very great example to some noob that they judge the quality according to the megapixels
mobile-review and smape posted some photo sample and the quality is very superb!

Yes. I totally agree with the previous comment. The design is really good. Just like the HTC TyTn2 which was launched 2 yrs ago. But I sincerely hope that the operating system wont hang like that in N96.

If n97 is slow, than iphone is the best touch screen phone:(
Mobile review have said it is not as fast as you expect it to be!!!
Slower than 5800 and the same ram! Dissappointmment!!!!
I skip it and look for september nkia world announxement and apple june 8 announcement!
What the new iphone has to offer????
