The N97 is definitely a gud choice for those who like taking pictures, those who love internet surfin and those who loves style in corporate!its options are more towards an n82,e90 and xpress music combined.

Everybody knows that 434MHz is not enough for an High end phone like this one! If the phone was selling for 450 EUR or 540USD it would be normal. But now Nokia is trying to use their old CPU to save money! Cheap Nokia cheap, shame Nokia shame! Omnia HD FTW!

So you think a 3rd party site has better information than the company making the phone.

                    What's with the multiple posts?

Your E70 playing up, typical Nokia.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yeah right, so you think you gonna go into a store and they will make it on the spot?

They would be in production now and getting ready to ship, to change the CPU would need FCC approval which would delay things by a few more months.

it wasn't as slow as peeople mentioned on the web

Ac, 14 May 2009How fast is it? The response time? While the CPU could have been better, as long as the N97 has at least half the processor speed of WinMobile/OSX phones, it'll still be faster than the competitors. Symbian is a extremly well polished OS, with monthly (if not weekly) firmware updates. Obviosly everything is free, and you're not forced to anything...

Just for an example, compare the N95's camera now and in 2007 - the difference is almost as big as the difference between 5800 and N97. Except the N97 to be even better in the future...

In 2001 Nokia made the first widely availible 3G-phone. Since then, Nseries phones have always included all media functions availible for the time being, and N97 proves it (32+ GB, nHD, 10mbps HSDPA, 2mbps HSUPA etc.)

Hope Nokia will announced some real capacitive touchscreen phone very soon, cause i just can't wait anymore! My black N82 is starting to get old! The N97 or the 5800 are not an innovation from Nokia, they are just normal touch phone to follow the competition! This phone should have been done 1 year ago minimum! Now it's to late for Nokia, they will loose market share!

They need to build a slim and very fast phone with an user-friendly interface as the android!!!
